Did any imps almost screw u over

Oh boy, we had some tough times with the imps towards the end. First of all, Grey got himself killed and Amneda almost didn’t get him to his Quest Bed in time. And then this other time, Maud, being the dramatic dear that she is, almost got herself a Heroic death fighting a huuuuge Ogre. Thank goodness Jona was able to swoop in at the last second.

Did jack or any other derse agents give u a hard time

Well, Derse did give us some trouble, especially after The Game ramped up its difficulty. But we didn’t have to tango with any rogue agents, which is apparently common in sessions?

Did anyone not ascend (asking both trolls and humans)

Nope! The trolls were kinda all forced to ascend by their tenth troll, and we all managed to ascend one way or another.

So was it.. scarring when you lost your guardian.. it must've been hard.. or for me it has i lost my brother when i was exploring my land & seeing his dead body really shock me.. made me feel a lot of things...

I was very hard. Most of us lost ours to the meteors, but some managed to tag along... And when The Game ramped up its difficulty levels, we couldn’t keep them safe from the imps.

Is there any documented story we could read that details your escapades?

Not yet, but there will be! I’m working on getting enough information from the trolls about their session first, and then I’ll start writing stories based off of both our sessions.

Have you ever encountered any lime-blooded trolls?

BA: I’m afraid that’s a no, pal

BA: Any limeblood who popped ~u~p on Exod~u~s was immediately drafted into the army

BA: Needed all the firepower we co~u~ld get in the war against HIC

BA: And genetics didn’t work in o~u~r favor after the game, so no troll we ever saw was limeblooded

UV: ==o Our tenth troll w*s * purpleblood n*med Elym*s Jezbel. He w*s... str*nge, to s*y the le*st. In his youth, he h*d been friendly, if not * bit odd, *nd he *nd *podi* were good friends. He developed quite the flushcrush for her, but she rejected his *dv*nces. *ccording to her, they h*d * very explosive *rgument online, *nd then he v*nished. Deleted his *ccounts everywhere, *nd st*yed in his hive for * very long time, prob*bly *lmost two or three sweeps. 

UV: ==o When he c*me b*ck into our lives, we did not know who he w*s. He w*s * very cold, cruel entity who knew uncomfort*ble *mounts of inform*tion *bout us. He told us *bout * g*me we could pl*y, * g*me th*t could offer us incredible opportunities. Most of us weren’t *ll th*t ench*nted, but... Let us simply s*y th*t he m*de some very compelling offers to Kirin* *nd *mned*. *nd if they were going to enter the g*me, then the rest of us were *s well. 

UV: ==o Upon our entry, we re*lized th*t this str*nge figure w*s none other th*n Elym*s. He w*s very different, to s*y the le*st. Norm*lly we would not h*ve listened to him. I believe Kirin* *nd Inovco were re*dy to kill him on the spot, for wh*t he h*d done. But, you see, Elym*s h*d power over us. He knew this g*me we h*d locked ourselves into. Knew the ex*ct p*th we were to t*ke in order to be victorious. We c*n only guess *s to how he h*d this knowledge.

UV: ==o *nd so, we pl*yed, under the strict guid*nce of Elym*s. We would h*ve done so to the end, were it not for Rol*nd, our G*me expert. *t the time, he w*s just le*rning the mech*nics of The G*me, but he could tell th*t Elym*s h*d been che*ting somehow- *voiding *ny sort of conflict or issue. Not only th*t, but Rol*nd h*d m*n*ged to *ccess Elym*s’s computer *nd s*w th*t he h*d more insidious pl*ns for us once we won the g*me- stripping our power *w*y *nd becoming * god *mong us. 

UV: ==o *nd so, we *ll confronted him, *nd *fter * long *nd h*rd fight, Rol*nd m*n*ged to kill him. It w*s * Just de*th. 

UV: ==o *fter th*t, things were h*rder, but *mned* w*s quick to t*ke up the m*ntle of le*der *nd help us work together to win The G*me.

Were there any alt, doomed timelines that someone pulled off a dave and fixed or did u guys meet any alt dead selves

I personally didn’t. But I know some of my sessionmates had some encounters with some, uh, very damaged alternate selves. It really spooked them, and they don’t like to talk about it, but one particular incident kept Sara from dying permanently, and in such a way that would have doomed our session. And I know Jona ran into a lot of his alternate selves, but he tends to keep those encounters between him and Kirina.

did any of u go grimdark/trickster? honestly i think any session would have one of these kinds of things

Maud actually went grimdark for a short while. She was learning all that she could about the Horrorterrors, and in doing so she opened herself up to them, and they were quick to take advantage of that. It was very scary and it took the combined efforts of myself, Sara, and Nano to shake her out of it. I honestly don’t remember much of how we actually did it. I don’t like remembering it at all. Maud is a very close friend of mine and it was very emotional, seeing her like that.

Was it scary for anyone of you to go God Tier, I mean think about it. you have to die on the quest bed or just having to die in general.. did any of your group (or the trolls) have any hesitant thoughts before actually going through the process, & for you if you went God Tier.. how did it felt personally?

I know it was scary for all of us. Grey was the first to ascend. He died after going up against something on his Land that was way too high level. Luckily, Amneda was there with him, and she coordinated with Enarae to teleport him to his Quest Bed so he could ascend. And, I mean, we saw that going through the process meant great things for us and our session, but it was still hard actually dying.

I know my ascension was emotional for me. I’ve always had a weird relationship with the idea of death and the afterlife, and ascending just threw everything into a doozy for me. I’ve kind of ignored most of it since then. Even a god can’t ponder those things sometimes.

I think Kirina also had some issues ascending in her session, but she doesn’t like to talk about it. Says it’s in the past and should stay there, and she should know, being a time player and all.

how did your session end out with a bang, a big battle or just... somehow beat the game without killing the king and/or queen

Oh our battle with the Black King was LEGENDARY! At some point during our play, The Game caught on to the fact that we were clearing objectives pretty quickly, so it started ramping up the difficulty like crazy. Honestly the battle is all a blur now, but we were all working as this huge 20-man team and it was AWESOME.

did any romance ever get in your way? like, were any players dating or something, and it kind of interfered with the session? just curious. im a sucker for romance, any type. :p

Well… I think the only thing that qualifies is Kirina and Inovco. Sometimes their, uh, really intense rivalry would lead to them getting carried away… and it made all us humans feel a little awkward.
