they smile and wag their tail.

“don’t look so sad, you can ask to join my pack!”

our pack has been needing some extra, loyal paws. you look strong enough! why don’t you come with me?”

“what are you doing all alone, dispersal wolf?

listen, follow me to our territory.

don’t worry about that, we can heal you.”

the scent of freshwater and unfamiliar wolves fill your nostrils. you wonder where you’ve ended up.

a distant howl calls into the bright sky.

you’re not alone, and thats even more certain once you see fur stalk through the brush.

“hello there! sorry i may have startled you. do you happen to have a pack? ah… you’re a dispersal? well, i’m a beta wolf of the eastern glen pack. if you ever need somewhere to stop by, let us know. we always need some extra paws around here.”
