I would have said that the Assassination Department would be a good fit, because the ability allows for some stealth. But this is up to you. ^^

Firstly, no romantic/sexual nsfw bc im still a minor, stuff like gore is allowed. Although, you can be a lil suggestive if you wish bc Yashi is a legal adult

hi again :D it's Nyx or @humanthatishuman (she/they/it/any) and here's a long (+ possibly unnecessary and boring) info dump abt my Bungo Stray Dogs oc, Taro Yashima (they/them)

Their full name is Taro Yashima, however, if they make friends they'll be allowed to call Yashima by the nickname 'Yashi'. They are based on the author of the same pen name, the author's real name was Atsushi Iwamatsu, but I won't be using this name.

Personality Traits: They keep to themselves most of the time and let anyone who's around them do most of the talking. Although, once they start talking it can be hard to shut them up. Similar to how a crow is quiet until they start cawing their heads off.

Backstory: Yashima joined the PM after being kicked out of their home for 'bringing the family misfortune' due to their ability when they were 14. They lived on the streets for a couple of years where they joined a group similar to The Sheep that Chuuya was in before the PM. But Mori found Yashima hiding after that small group was massacred for reasons (idk yet, sorry) and gave them the opportunity to join the PM when they were 16. Currently, Yashi is 20 years old and apart of the assassination department of the PM.

Motivation and Goals: Yashima's motivation is to find a place where they belong again like that small gang back when they were a kid. The PM is welcoming but it isn't 'home', and eventually Yashima will have to realize their idea of 'home' isn't as easily attainable as they had hoped. Their 'home' is far away, in the sky maybe, isolated from people who could hurt them, at peace with their crows, and where no 'misfortune' haunts them. They want to prove that they aren't a walking bad omen, that good things can happen even if crows follow their trail.

Ability: "Crow Boy" (named after the book the real Yashima wrote) grants Yashi the ability to control and communicate with crows within a 100-foot radius, allowing them to summon crows instantly. These birds rush to their aid, responding almost as if "spawned" within the range. The controlled crows have enhanced flight speed, and their talons and beaks become as sharp as blades, making them lethal in combat. Yashi can also see through the eyes of a single crow at a time, though they lose awareness of their immediate surroundings while doing so. Additionally, they can sense the emotions and thoughts of nearby crows, though this ability requires intense focus and is more draining than the standard control.
