It was an unusually chill place for the 'theft' mission, thought the blue-eyed ender while climbing slowly out of the sewers. As he slowly emerged from this secret passage, Dreamger noticed that the light had already stopped reaching him at the bottom of the pit, indicating that night had finally arrived to cover him. The night breeze sent shivers down his spine, tightening his blue cloak as his deep blue eyes continued to search for any signs of detection.
~~~
His entrance in this kingdom was a little bit loud at first due to that strange barrier - somehow it was spread even underground when he was trying to find a hidden entrance to this place, preventing him from moving forward. It felt like it was a solid wall, but without any feeling of temperature or texture. Like it wasn't even here at all, and it was just compressed air... something he had already seen before.Â
In the same time the local players could see something strange happening in their chat...
As the last output in chat showed the amount of blocks, a sudden big wave of air rushed into the city as the barrier suddenly disappeared - like an implosion, it quickly pushed any mob or player who were close to the border on the ground or knocked them against any close surface for a short second. It surely created some kind of panic on the surface, giving Dream a chance to get deeper into the kingdom... staying hidden till the noise died out.
The cadaver didn't say a word in response to that question, but the big ur-ghast could hear their voice repeating his question to themselves. And this voice wasn't coming from that strange entity; it was as if the command block inside him was speaking those words.
Yet, even the voice itself sounded different - it felt like a razor made out of static sound, cutting through other warnings, wailed by the same block. However, neither Khar nor the ender twins would hear that, making this conversation more secluded for Abraxis and his power, giving him a hint that this oddity might be dangerous.
"...would say 'clean' if I weren't sitting in this guy's juices." The body spoke again with a normal voice, completely ignoring the last question before suddenly raising a leg and forcefully hitting it against the floor, causing their entire body to stand up straight without moving any other limbs.
"Another empire, you say, big boy?" The body said with a light chuckle as it finally looked directly at Abraxis, then turned towards him and began to slowly walk closer. Their body language was incredibly relaxed and unbothered, which made this behavior almost unsettling, while the red liquid kept dripping from their blood-soaked clothes, leaving a trail behind them. As the entity got closer, the big ur-ghast could see that their mismatched eyes looked completely different from a human ones from before - they resembled more of a glowing dots which was floating in the darkness of their eye sockets.
"Is it ruled by another code-touched entity? Or by someone else with an excessive amount of code on them?"
As the massive ur-ghast gave the command, the poor human suddenly twitched as his hand suddenly rose up as if it were trying to reach the ceiling. A broken moan escaped his lips like a last death rattle, while his eyes looked up in terror, filled with a mixture of horror and panic. Their blood was slowly soaking the red bricks of the floor as it poured more and more from their sliced throat. On second, his lips were moving like the poor player tried to speak something, but with the gesture of their hand, it was like they were talking to someone else⌠before his hand simply fell over his chest and his eyes stopped moving.
There was a brief pause before Khar would do anything with the body, but as soon as he started to make steps closer to it⌠a slowly increasing sound started to fill their ears, like constant rusting. A white noise that felt like a big wave was coming here. Yet, the sound wasn't coming from any specific directionsâit was like inside everyone's head who was standing in that throne room! And it kept increasing with each passing second, creating an uneasy feeling for everyone, as Abraxis somehow could hear something else in that white noise. The voice that was spoken by the block inside of him after each command or when there was quiet enough that he could hear his thoughts. But this time, it wasn't shutting down; it was babbling without stopping, like it was in a state of panic.
And at one point, the noise suddenly got lower, like it was suddenly cut, leaving only a loud tinnius ringing in the ears after that. And then suddenly, the body of the poor bastard who was lying on the floor suddenly sprung up to the straight sitting position with a loud gasp. The cut on their neck wasn't bleeding, yet it wasn't closing either, as the corpse was taking breaths like it was just dove out of the water.
"âŚdammit, that was a little rough." The cadaver spoke with quite a different tone than when it was begging for the lives of their pets or for their own lives. It was somehow more confident and amusing with some kind of static behind it, as if it were just simulated. And as the cadaver started to turn their head to look at their surroundings, everyone in the throne room would quickly notice the mismatched different color of the eyesâone was yellow, the other was white-gray, like a brine one.
"Huh⌠doesn't feel like world 0. Too comfortable for me." The body kept talking as it switched its gaze over their hands, observing their fingers with a childlike interest, yet somehow this innocent behavior was quite off-putting as they were basically sitting in a puddle of their own blood. "Ooo, it's been a while since I've got a freshie. Though a little bruised up... But hey, at least no iron taste in my mouth this time."
The Citadel, a massive, terrifying castle-like structure poised upon a trifecta of floating islands that traveled slowly through the Nether's ever expanding reaches. It was here that the throne sat, and it was here that the God-King, the Ruler of the Gilded Twilight Empire sat.
A terrifying, monstrous beast from another dimension, another realm that was bathed in twilight itself. Abraxis, he was known as. A tyrant who had systematically been conquering every village, ruined fortress and bastion the Nether had to offer. Picking up the crumbling scraps of civilization that had long since been left in ruin...
However, where many bent a knee and offered servitude, there were some who were brought before Abraxis.. kicking, screaming and hollering profanities. Mainly humans who had been unlucky enough to have been caught by one of the God-King's many patrols, the many squadrons who had received the Ur-Ghasts' blessing.
Overwhelmed, unprepared for the mobs in which they faced. They were captured, and when they refused to bend.. they were killed. In a myriad of ways, naturally. So much so it had become a rousing spectacle for the upper echelons of Abraxis' Court.
Into the massive, long and wide spread halls of the Citadel. Where chains clacked, gears turned, and lava flowed freely in tubes, fountains and fixtures. A player had been caught, his pet wolves slaughtered right before he was cut down. Their soul sent back to the Overworld.
The Piglin Brute Commander, Khar had done the deed, a clean sweep with his gilded netherite axe and resounding strength. Another sent back to the other side, into the waiting arms of the brewing Storm that the Twins had concocted.
"Pathetic, really.." Abraxis' low, rumbling voice would cause most to tremble. Like a rolling earthquake spawned from a volcano. A fitting tone to the behemoth of a mob.
"All bark, but no bite when against something they can't exploit." He motioned with one claw toward the body. He was almost.. bored. Seeing so many fall before him, and so few put up even a shred of resistance. Mere humans were nothing compared to his typical prey.
Their souls, hardly worth eating.
"Have it taken to the incinerator with the rest. I rather not feed the Hoglin's such filth." Even he had his standards.
At the moment when Aheâs figure started to raise, the bracelet what Dream gave to him fell down on the ground, leaving to the fate of somebody stomping on it so itâd serve itâs purpose. An ember lights shined over the stones on it as the flames over the roofs were soaring up with the chaos, raising around the village. âLike Iâm not sick enough with those two paholaisia and clients who canât follow the rulesâ Kaledona chuckled softly while rubbing the endergirlâs shoulders, all around her spikes so she could slowly come down from her stress hill. âAnd itâs always like that, donât worry. People wouldnât visit my kotini if they didnât had a bag of stuff to deal with.â The snowfall was slowly stopping as the albino endergal shook herself a little bit, letting some of the snow what was blending with her white fur to fall down on the ground with a wet soft crunch. As Skellie said about not understanding why sheâs helping her, Kale huffed like it was quite obvious to answer: âWell, I canât let you go inside in this form - would have knocked something or someone with those raskaat aseet.âShe said while tapping a little bit on the flat surface of the spike, right around her shoulder area. âBesides, the pack is used to take care of others if itâs too hard for them. Just accept it while you are here, iso tyttĂś.â
"Does your 'ex' always visit you, or does he have a way of finding you anywhere?" The blue-eyed long ender asked Skellie while glancing at her from top to bottom in a curious manner before looking at her eye markings, which looked quite similar to his faded ones over his eyes. "Or are you just not moving away from one place, so it's easy for him to find you again?"
"He just shows up...sells marrying him like its such a great deal...I don't want to go back...I cant go back to the end."
The expression on the albino endergalâs face quickly changed into more serious one once the voice of Skellie began to change as her fear-filled glance was enough to tell her what is happening. âHelevetti...â She said with a soft tone, while making a slight gesture towards the kids who were just tried to pull that dagger out of the snow to continue their ride. âDream, please take your little demons away. Iâll take it from here.â The blue eyed ender in that time was sitting near to the buff endergal as his eyes kept switching between his kids and her, but when her eyes glanced on the kids, he quickly rushed towards them, making his blue cape to flick in the air while some snow was sticking to the bottom of it. He quickly grabbed the guy from the snow and threw him over his shoulder, before easily picking the little endergirl one under his armput, like she weighted nothing. She kept giggling as the boy quickly glanced on Dreamâs expression, before looking at Skellie and his bright smile quickly turned into the same worried expression as Dream had. They quickly went to the building as the long ender still kept glancing on the buff endergal, wanting to help her... but as Kaledona gave a strange sign with her hand, Dreamger made his way inside. âOkay dear, letâs take it slow... another kĂśyhä wounded soul.â The albino endergal said with a gentle tone while her hands really slowly reached to the edges of Skellieâs head, guiding it down on her lap. âEasy, easy... doc is still sleeping so for now, letâs handle it in the old way.â While speaking, Kaledona reached her hand under Skellieâs jaw, starting to massage the base of it as the pain was slowly focused in one spot, yet it was slowly dulling out in this spot. âDonât open your eyes yet, letâs relax your jaw muscles first so they wouldnât strain your head... â While saying that, she moved a piece of fabric what was covering her wrists, showing that it had alot of bites, preparing for this if the situation would go that way. âDonât be afraid to bite my hand as well - I know during this state itâs easier to chew on something so your head wouldnât be filled with a constant pain in the ass.â
"Does your 'ex' always visit you, or does he have a way of finding you anywhere?" The blue-eyed long ender asked Skellie while glancing at her from top to bottom in a curious manner before looking at her eye markings, which looked quite similar to his faded ones over his eyes. As Skellieâs head fell on his shoulder, the long ender sighed out while holding her close, watching with some kind of mesmerized look how those spikes kept lifting up and down with her every breath. As she moved back and looked at him, Dream just held her hand with a nod, before giving a warm smile. âAt least the current one is pretty." He said with a soft chuckle to help her with this distraction, while lowering their hands down as their breath was making light clouds of steam around them, cooling their breaths. âDonât worry about clothes, though - if Vera is here, she might just throw something of your size on y--â He got interrupted as he jumped a little bit on place by a sudden voice behind the doors of the building: âHei te kaksi, put the customer down! Pesky redheaded demonit...â The voice behind the door sounded feminine with some heavy northern accent as it followed with sounds of some crashing and loud childish giggling. In the next second, the doors of the building got opened, as Skellie would see two young enders who were holding some kind of human body, dragging it by its legs. The groans of the man showed that he was alive, and as both kids quickly dragged the man past them, the red face of the man showed that he was completely drunk. Both of them quickly gave a glance over the blue-eyed ender and quickly shouted âHEY DAD!â, before the body started to slide off the hill and they climbed on it to use as a sledge! Right after them, Skellie could see the albino endergal, wearing the winter outfit for hunters as some knives kept knocking against her waist with a light clinking sound. She quickly shouted after them, revealing that it was her voice that they had heard before: âTULE TAKAISIN TĂNNE, YOU TWO!!!â She shouted while throwing one of the blades after them as it quickly hit the ground near the drunk man, managing to catch on his clothes and stop him from sliding, forcing the kids to fall into the snow. After this, she stopped in their tracks with a relived sigh that they didnât slide too far before noticing both Skellie and Dream sitting near the entrance. â...aiaiai... brought us a new customer, arenât you boy?â Her tone quickly got softer, almost motherly, yet with some eagerness she was easing down. As she came closer, she squatted down, making her long grey skirt press onto the red bricks on the road while she looked at the buff endergal with a much softer expression compared to the one she had when she chased those two enderkids....though still saving her heavy accent. âHello dear....My name is Kaledona. Welcome to âThe broken toothâ.â
"Does your 'ex' always visit you, or does he have a way of finding you anywhere?" The blue-eyed long ender asked Skellie while glancing at her from top to bottom in a curious manner before looking at her eye markings, which looked quite similar to his faded ones over his eyes. The long ender stopped as soon as he started to see the change in Skellieâs appearance, making him more worried about her. He kneeled in front of her as he took both of her hands by his fingertips, making sure theyâd be in front of her eyes, and it was like she tested her hands on his without holding. And as he spoke, his voice somehow got over the voices coming from the building, yet he wasnât raising his toneâitâs like everything was muffled for this small moment. âEverything is fine, Skellie. Breath slowly...â Dreamger spoke while not looking directly at her but more at her hands, making a light shake so they would bounce and her mind would focus on the current thing rather than going into panic, trying to slow her spin of thoughts down. Something he had to do quite often with one of his kids or during rescue missions. âMy crewâ...my family is going to protect you, I promise. Nothing here is going to hurt you.â He corrected himself while repeating, Everything is fine, and making slow breaths for her to mimic while tapping gently her hand to give her a calm rhythm for the inhales. âSlow in... and slow out.â He spoke, coordinating the endergirlâs breath while watching carefully at her spikes and such.
"Does your 'ex' always visit you, or does he have a way of finding you anywhere?" The blue-eyed long ender asked Skellie while glancing at her from top to bottom in a curious manner before looking at her eye markings, which looked quite similar to his faded ones over his eyes. Are you a Minecraft ask blog?
Comment or reblog if you'd like some Asks in your inbox!
Annual new post while the old one has been deleted.
Surely, if you leave a comment or reblog, I'll leave some trivia questions and little hc/lore questions on your blogs! I can't guarantee any of them to be significant, but fun either way!
I like to lurk around as an anon and spread my questions out, so you may never be certain.
I can also do RPs and interactions! Please include that with your comment/reblog if you are interested at all and whether they shall be unprompted or planned ahead.
I am a little skittish around new folks (I am mostly a lurker lol) and I do not know every character you have in store. So be wary questions may be generalised and non-character specific. P:
As that popping was heard by the long ender, his enthusiastic smile tempered down as he quickly started to check her with his deep blue eyes in a worry that it might have triggered aggro for her. âAre you alright? Did it go too hard for you?â He asked Skellie, still holding her hand to keep her more or less calm. âAlways forgetting that itâs quite irritating for the newcomers. Donât worry, next time it should be less loud.â He reassured her before hearing the endergirlâs words about this place, gently pulling her with him towards that building at the root of the tree. âThis place is not accessible unless you know the âcodeâ for it... At least thatâs how doc explained it to me â Dreamger explained it to her as they were getting closer to this building. Skellie could notice the change in temperature as it was getting warmer under her steps, yet the air remained cold. Soon enough, she could feel that the frozen ground got replaced under her feet with something solid, revealing that it was a nether brick after sheâd look at her trace, imprinted on the snow layer. âIt canât even be shown on the map!â With enough distance passed, the tree felt like a huge giant who looked over them, covering the place with its shadow, yet the light kept leaking through the branches. As they were getting into the shadow of the tree, the endergal could hear some voices coming from the building, as there were so many that it felt like there was like a huge bazaar, covered from other eyes.
"Does your 'ex' always visit you, or does he have a way of finding you anywhere?" The blue-eyed long ender asked Skellie while glancing at her from top to bottom in a curious manner before looking at her eye markings, which looked quite similar to his faded ones over his eyes. The grip of the long ender in that moment got stronger as she could feel him moving forward...yet, the usual following sound of his step on the snow didnât come. Like ANY sound of him suddenly stopped to exist after she felt him stepping forward, but with her closed eyes, she couldnât see what happened. Yet, the grip was still here, still holding her tightly, contradicting what was happening as the buzzing kept slowly increasing. And then, in just a quick movement, his grip suddenly tugged her forward with quite a strong force, as she didnât even have to jump, easily pulling off from her feet like she got swept. At just a small fraction of a second, that buzzing sound was so loud that she couldnât hear anything else but it......before it suddenly stopped and she could hear the usual sounds of his breathing, his steps. Even his body as from that sudden yank, her body would stumble on him and she could feel his other hand catching her, making sure she wouldnât fall. "Easy, easy, open, open!â Skellie finally would hear his voice, giving her a sign that it is safe now. And when she opened her purple eyes, she could clearly see that they were in a little different placeâit was the same snowy tundra, but part of it was replaced with completely new terrainâa little hills around the river and some extra trees around. But that wasnât the main thing that would catch her eyeâin the distance, she could see a big tree. A really large tree. So large that she could see some of the snow mist covering its base as the trunk and branches kept going up and up, beyond the clouds! And still, it wasnât stopping there, drowning in a mist of clouds, making it feel like it was stretching through the whole world's height. Not to mention that the trunk seemed too thick from a distance as when theyâd start coming closer, sheâd release that it was like 100 blocks in diameter, if not more. And as theyâd come closer, sheâd notice a big, ring-like house built right around it with multiple floors. The place was made from red nether bricks and was quite noticeable from a distance with how the design stood out compared to the biome. âRelax, we are here now." His voice was giving out light notes of excitement, like he was about to show her something special.
"Does your 'ex' always visit you, or does he have a way of finding you anywhere?" The blue-eyed long ender asked Skellie while glancing at her from top to bottom in a curious manner before looking at her eye markings, which looked quite similar to his faded ones over his eyes. He continued to walk backwards as his smile brightened a little bit from her giggle, seeing her get some of her worry down just for a brief moment. The snow was slowly falling on them as it kept covering his blue cloak in it, making it blend with the snow. âOh yeah, this one is the most unfriendly one. If you are curious, you can join our hunts after some time to visit more places we are scouting. â He said, while continuing to lead, that after a few minutes he stopped in place in a straight up pose, like he was counting every step they made from their teleport place. When Skellie asked him about his crew, Dream rolled his eyes like he was trying to scramble that information from his mind before answering: âAround 15 or 20. Though the base contains not just my crew...we are just mere tenants there. Youâll see in a second.â After saying it, he turned to the vast view of the snowy tundra while reaching his hand forward, like he was trying to grasp something invisible. In that moment, the endergal could hear a strange, almost unnoticeable buzzing in her headâlike a small static. As the long ender moved his hand around in front of him, the buzzing kept getting louder and quieter until it got consistent, as he found the point when this noise was more or less noticeable for them both. âOkay, this part is tricky, and thatâs why I canât teleport us into the base directly. Hold my hand and close your eyes. And I mean, really close them and do not let go of my hand.â Dreamger said while looking at Skellie. âIâll take a few steps, and when you feel me tugging on your hand, jump forward without opening your eyes. A little leap of faith.â
"Does your 'ex' always visit you, or does he have a way of finding you anywhere?" The blue-eyed long ender asked Skellie while glancing at her from top to bottom in a curious manner before looking at her eye markings, which looked quite similar to his faded ones over his eyes. âHmmm...then it might be... âââ đ¸ââᾣᾤâ ᾌâââđš â The blue-eyed ender eyes looked down on the ground in thought, mumbling something at the end to himself as she spoke about how she doesnât really remember on how those markings were made. Even those small details were enough for him to consider that he already knew what type of markings are those... which put him in a more worried mood than before. But when he glanced at Skellie and saw her shine in the eyes, he decided to push those questions for later so she wouldnât feel overwhelmed with stress right from the first steps. âI think I can work with that detail for now. Also, I can see somebody is quite new to this white beauty, arenât you?â Dream said, while he turned around, continuing to walk in the same direction but backwards with his back facing forward, making sure that they could talk without too much trouble. During that, the long ender switched hands with her as his steps were a little jumpy while the snow melted under his feet, leaving a small trail after them. His energy at that time felt like he wasnât in the same place as where she sees him. It didnât match him at all, and somehow it was... familiar? Like someone she knew, but in same time she did not not. A strange [deja vu] feeling.
"Does your 'ex' always visit you, or does he have a way of finding you anywhere?" The blue-eyed long ender asked Skellie while glancing at her from top to bottom in a curious manner before looking at her eye markings, which looked quite similar to his faded ones over his eyes.
