Reading the mabinogion makes me think that Lleu was younger than I thought. Maybe it's just me but because it breezed passed his naming and stuff it felt like he was barely an adult by the time Blodeuwedd was born. Maybe he wasn't even an adult because he grows physically faster than mentally🤷‍♀️

Lleu and Dylan met up frequently as they grew up actually☝️🤓
Lleu waits by the windows until Dylan shows up and they either stay there and talk or sneak off together to play.

Can't believe Dylan just popped out of his mom and went straight to the sea.
What do you MEAN you don't wanna be part of the family drama!?

I imagine his hair messy and spiky(?) Like an eagle mane, but his gaze and smile are very soft. As a child he had blonde hair which eventually turned silver as he grew older.
He's also shorter than his brother(being born a premature meat blob may stunt your growth who knew)

"'I am your brother! You are my friend! You are the single person I have most admired and imitated and envied my entire life! If you hate me so for my heritage, then I do not want it, I cannot bear your hatred. So leave me here! Kill me!' 'I can’t,' I gasped. 'I can’t. I can’t kill you. I love you.'"

The first month when the ice breaks, is the month that he dives back into the water. Lleu was always worried he'd find Dylan half-frozen against the edge of the water. His brother lived far from the main land near the coast where nothing but jagged rocks acted as platforms and cold caves as shelter.
Lleu tells him everytime, "you can come home whenever you want"
Dylan responds, "half of my home is in the sea, the other half always wanders lost" He places a hand on Lleu's chest, "so its more convenient I live here"
Lleu can't leave the house during winter without his uncle's permission. So every spring eve the boy waits near the window, watching as dawn breaks, as the sun flies high into the sky, before he hurriedly leaves to find his twin who insists on anchoring himself to the waters.
Every so often Lleu scolds him, "You fool, what if you die out here". Dressed clumsily in mismatched robes and a coat, clutching a package with breakfast to share.
"We are gods" Dylan laughed, head high to catch sunrays in his curls. They've become darker as he's aged, Lleu's lightened in contrast. "We cannot truly die. If we burn our ashes become soil, if we drown our bodies become one with the seabed." With a cold hand Dylan brushed away the messy silver-blonde strands from his brother's face. "Have you become so soft living with our uncle that you fear such things?"
"You're ridiculous..." Lleu swatted his hand away. In one quick motion, Dylan grabbed Lleu's hand and pulled him into the water with him. Instinctively Lleu wrestles and hits Dylan before pushing him away and swimming to the surface, gasping and hissing when he hears Dylan's laughter.
"You've ruined my robes!"
"Why did you hold your breath? I've taught you how to breathe and speak underwater right?". He raised a brow in mockery. Lleu turned away from him. "I, haven't forgotten..."
"Oh I know you haven't, the truth is that you're still afraid of the dark aren't you?"
Lleu once more swats his hand at Dylan who avoids it gracefully and grabs him, firmly this time, taking Lleu into his arms as he had before. They sink beneath the surface. Lleu's nails bite into his brother's back as the waters pull them deeper in. He doesn't dare raise his head, mumbling.
"It's not fair, we're twins...why is it that you seem more wiser than me?"
"I'm still older" Dylan murmurs, kissing Lleu's forehead as the two curled their limbs around one another. "Who else will guide you? You're so helpless sometimes"
The last month of winter will soon give way to spring. Though for them, the atmosphere warmed up a little more early.

I'm like if a chivalrous knight kissed a fair maiden's hand and said "my lady, I fight for you" and then walked off and immediately tripped over his own armor and fell on the ground
