The about-face you're seeing right now is calculated. Liberal Zionists are seeing the mainstream media (finally, after almost 2 years) put out the pictures of starving children that they were happy to ignore last year.

Children were starving to death in Gaza in 2023 and 2024. If these people cared, they would have spoken up then.

These people were nowhere to be found on October 8 and they still wouldn't be here if the tide hadn't shifted in the liberal west.

It is my friend, Moh'd Ayesh's, birthday today, and he is spending yet another birthday without enough food to eat, and with the weight of the world on his shoulders.

I wish I could wish him a happy birthday without it sounding hollow, because right now, there is no way for him to have a happy birthday -- that was taken from him by the occupation and the genocide and the blockade.

Instead I can only wish for things to get better, and that his next birthday is somewhere safe, where he can feel unburdened and happy.

I go to this trap of death and hunger to embarrass me from asking for help, but I don't know if your conscience will wake up after seeing me and I want to execute myself in this death trap.

Finally, Ramadan has arrived, the month of blessings and goodness. I have always loved this month and cherished our traditions and customs during it.

This is the second Ramadan that comes upon us when we are no longer who we used to be. Our lives are no longer the same, and we no longer feel the desire to celebrate as we once did.

But we have not lost hope and never will. We will reclaim our lives, regain our happiness, and once again celebrate Ramadan, Eid, and all the beautiful occasions.

My name is Hamed Yousef AlHajjar, I’m 18 years old, from Gaza.

Not long ago, I lost my father, Yousef AlHajjar, who was killed in an airstrike by the occupation.

He spent his life trying to protect us and provide for us, despite the extremely harsh conditions.

He was a strong, kind man. But in this war, no one is truly safe and now, he is gone.

Since that painful day, I became fully responsible for my mother and younger siblings.

Life in Gaza has become almost impossible. There’s no work, no safety, and at times, not even a piece of bread to eat.

I’m a young man, just starting my life, and I used to have dreams like any other person.

I loved roller skating and I dreamed of becoming good at it, maybe even joining competitions.

But the war stopped everything even dreams.

Today, my only concern is how to feed my family and help them survive with dignity.

I have no job, no income, no home nothing but my faith in God, and hope in your kind hearts.

After more than 600 days of war, patience, and pain, I finally decided to ask for help.

I’m not asking for much just the basics to survive.

Even a small donation could make a difference in our lives.

A family consisting of 11 people 3 days without food ‼️

I am Mahmoud Zaatar.

I live in a small tent with my family: my mother, my father, my little sister, my brother Mohammed with his wife and daughter, and my brother Hussein with his wife and three children.

We are ten souls who share the pain of life under a roof of cloth that does not protect us from cold or heat.

I am writing to you now, my heart is burdened with hunger, and my body is exhausted from lack of food.

We haven't eaten anything for three days except water and salt...

Yes, only water and salt.

My mother's weak voice, my father's silent moaning, my little sister's crying, and the children's hunger...

They are all voices that penetrate the heart, but they can't find anyone to hear them.

Today I stand on the verge of helplessness, not because we don't want to work, but because we don't even have the price of a loaf.

The price of a bag of flour reached £500 before the commission, which is a distant dream for us.
