As many of you may have noticed, Foxtrot, Echo, and Tango all have their own blogs now. There are many reasons but one of the main reasons is because they're no longer all together as a council/family. I won't say more about that and leave it up to Foxtrotmun and Echomun to decide how much they want to say on that matter.
We started this blog as a means of antagonists for the characters, based on an idea Echomun had that was then fleshed out. But a lot changed, and we decided that it would be for the better to do things this way. As such this blog will no longer be used.
If you wish to see the new incarnations of the characters, please follow

She watched his dismissive reaction to her with amusement and clasped her hands together, humming contentedly as she stepped into the shield by his side. Wow, there was a lot of Anons here. She'd never seen so many all in one place before. She didn't even know there were this many in Namco City. The air all around them felt charged with their collective energies, which... admittedly put her a little on-edge.
Her eyebrows raised in surprise and she gawked at Foxtrot at his loud announcement of her arrival. Was that... really necessary?? What did she need to be introduced for? He could have easily claimed to have upgraded the shield himself and left her out of it.
Her attention was drawn away from him when she heard the stunned silence all around them and felt overwhelmed by the emotions in the area. Surprise. Fear. Confusion. Awe. Admiration. Disgust. So much was coming to her all at once, she couldn't help but feel incredibly intimidated and conflicted by it all. She took a step back and hid behind Foxtrot. Why did he have to go and do a thing like that?
Her smile broadened and she nodded, ignoring his grumpy demeanour. She was used to it, afterall. He was a grump, but he was her grump and she loved him.
"With pleasure," she cooed, turning towards their house and raising her hands. Magic coursed through her veins and...

Well, Foxtrot couldn't deny that her shield was much better than his was, but that didn't make him any happier about it. He simply shrugged in response to her and walked through the now-invisible dome, to where all the refugee Anons were. Many of them had been startled (at least) by the shield shattering, so Foxtrot figured he should probably explain what was going on.
"HEY EVERYONE. xx" he called out, "Echo's back. xx" He gestured to the woman beside him. "She put in a new shield. Everything's alright. Everyone can stop panicking. xx"
Her smile broadened and she nodded, ignoring his grumpy demeanour. She was used to it, afterall. He was a grump, but he was her grump and she loved him.
"With pleasure," she cooed, turning towards their house and raising her hands. Magic coursed through her veins and surrounded her with pale blue light. A much smaller but perfectly-sized dome began to form over their home and the surrounding Anon encampment. Admittedly, it filled her with glee to feel their reactions of surprise and confusion all the way from here, even a hint of fear and panic here and there.
The magic dome encased the encampment and briefly turned a blinding white, then faded away. One wouldn't know the dome was there at all. In fact, the entire area looked barren and lifeless, like the house, tents, Anons, everything, never even existed to begin with. All that remained to be seen were the burnt and scattered remains of a little grey house that used to be.
She stayed quiet and focused as she made a few adjustments, then lowered her hands and turned to Foxtrot.
"There, much better. I hope you like it~~~"

Foxtrot scowled, rubbing the spot on his chest where the magic had entered, trying to ease away the slightly tingly feeling it left.
"I'm not lazy... xx" he muttered, but he knew she wasn't exactly wrong. Magic had never really been his strong suit, for all that he was an Anon and his entire existence was rooted in magic. He could do enough to get by, but he had a whole group of Anons to take care of now. So it was good Echo was back to take over the important magical things. Really. He wasn't bitter at all. Nope. Not even a little.
"Okay, fine. You can take care of the shield, then. xx"
She pursed her lips as she raised a hand towards the magical shield. Small whisps of pale blue energy danced around her fingers, and already the magic shield closest to her hand was rippling quickly like water being pushed by wind. Her eyebrows furrowed, and she tapped the shield. Immediately, her blue magic shot through the shield and cracked it, lines of energy spreading outward like a spider web or shattered glass.
"Flimsy... you tried to make the shield too large. It's as thin as paper. You really need to work on your magic. You know I won't always be around to lend a hand, should the need for magic ever arise. I'd hate to think of you being put in harm's way due to your laziness."
She clenched her hand, and the entire shield shattered. The shards turned back into white bits of energy, Foxtrot's magic. She opened her hand, and the white magic zoomed towards her and formed into a glowing white sphere in her palm.
"Don't worry, I would be more than happy to teach you how to better harness your magic. If you're willing to learn, that is."
She threw the white ball of energy into Foxtrot's chest, returning his strength to him. She dusted her hands off on the front of her dress and gave him a smile.
"Just let me do all the magical chores from now on, okay~~~"

Foxtrot walked beside Echo, nervously wringing his hands as she surveyed the damage from the dragon attack. He knew that the destruction wasn't his fault, obviously, but watching her clear displeasure made him feel... well, he couldn't quite place a word to it. But he didn't stop wringing his hands.
"Well...yeah. I mean, I couldn't just leave it. I had to. But... but you're right. I mean, magic isn't something I've ever been good at and I'm still not and it's been exhausting but I just...xx"
His voice trailed off. He had a tendency to ramble when he was nervous.
"I had to. xx"
Echo frowned as she walked alongside her husband and idly used her magic to clear away debris and make small repairs to the buildings around them, like fixing doors and windows like they were brand new. She didn’t remember the city ever looking this bad before, and it was pretty crummy and rundown as it was. This was sheer devastation and destruction, she could feel pain and death lingering all around her.
When did this happen, and why? The complete lack of life in the area unnerved her even further. Were there no survivors of whatever disaster took place here? She felt awful for not being able to do anything to stop it.
Once they got closer and closer to home, she could see a faint rippling in the air, like an almost invisible dome of energy. She soon became away of distant sounds and movement, and realized with a start that their little grey house was surrounded by an encampment of Anons! Well, at least the other members of their kind appeared to be alive and well. From here, anyways.
She stopped just before they reached the magical dome and she stared at it, as if trying to read it somehow.
"… did you do this, sweetie? You know you don’t have the kind of magic to spend maintaining a constant shield~~~"

That's good. I mean, he was SO sickly. I don't think even my magic could do much help there. xx
Well, sugar, it's been a while. How have you been? Fallen down any proverbial wells? Or literal, either works.
Oh. It’s you. xx
I’ve been fine. Busy. I haven’t fallen down any wells. Or caves. Or pits of any kind, real or euphemism. xx

What's the best meal Echo ever made for you? How about the absolute worst thing she's ever cooked? Are you a better cook than her?
Echo makes great tacos. And pretty much great every thing else. What can I say? She’s good with knives and fire. xx
I’m a decent cook, but Echo is better than me. But I’m better at baking than she is. xx

Can you anon guys cry? I mean, you don't have eyes or anything...but if you don't cry, what do you do when you're sad?
No, we can't cry. Like you said, we don't have eyes. xx
But we still keep all the usual crying rhythms. Your voice get's all thick, you shake a little... you know. Crying. xx
It's... really pathetic. xx
