Second Kin!

• The Starlings

Starlights are a nomads society, while they do have "bases" and settled communities, most of the time they are traveling the space.

Their antennae are prehensile and quite sensitive, the use them to interact with each other (like interlacing them with a loved one)

Their Colors depend on the composition of their birthplace (Example: This girl was born in a Gas gigant hence the light/pastel colors)

The inside of their mouth, blood, and flesh is the opposite or complementary colors of their skin (Example: If the skin is Purple, the blood will be Green or Cyan)

Their Body shape and Color can change with the composition on their current location, sometimes harsher conditions cause they to grow scales/exoskeleton to protect themselves.

They a bioluminescent, specially the eyes, lashes and hair, although they are capable of controlling how much they glow, sometimes due to certain stimuli, the lines on their body glow.

Speaking of, these lines are known as Blaschko lines, which are a real thing!

Humans have them!

Starlings can hover and fly pretty fast, but when they need to travel long distances they use a jetpack or a boat/vessel (Think of the ones from Treasure Planet)

They can travel faster than light thanks to "Singularity Travel" AKA: create a small singularity in front of the space craft to space warp across the cosmos.

Their style or "aesthetic" is Retro-Futurism and Teslapunk with elements of The Jetsons, Y2K technology and 80's/90's Clothes.

The Bubble helmet is not obligated, for they can perfectly breath in the void of space, but it's convenient and helpful, protects from harsh conditions and environments, kinda like Sunglasses and a Hat in Summer.

First Kin!

• The Mermen

Mermen are an Aquatic Society, they live in water (Lakes, Rivers, Sea, Oceans, Ect)

They are based on one Fish, having the Tail and Dorsal fin of said fish, they also have fins in their forearms, ears and have webbed feet.

Despite their aquatic nature, they can walk on land and breathe air, thanks to the gills on their neck and rib area.

Their hair is looks like Sea weed but it's actually made of keratin, it helps camouflaging from "Land Dwellers" in the surface of the water.

They do have "pectoral fat" but no nipples since they aren't mammals.

They live in communities hidden underneath the water, they build recycling the trash from the "Land Dwellers" and what can't be used is send back at the home of the Land Dwellers.

This blog is focused on My 9 Races I have created:

# The Mermen

Fish-like Humanoids living in the Oceans, Lakes, and Seas, surviving out of traditions and recycled "Land dweller" trash.

# The Starlings

Stellar humanoids with blood filled to the brim with stardust, they have the ability of adapting to the harshness of space and the ability to travel faster than light.

# The Night dwellers

Pitch black beings with brightly colored spots, fur and feathers in their bodies, essentially a werewolf with the personality of a ferret and a crow combined, they are very quick and shy of the light.

# The Minilings

Mice sized being, looking half-rodent and half-human, they live in trees or in between walls and usually they steal rare ingredients from "The Giants"

# The Blankies

Jellyfish-like beings that look like Blanket ghosts, they float, they are very shy and susceptible to the elements without their "blankets"

# The ShroomGnomes

Short, Sturdy and Hairy Gnomes, Half-Gnome and Half-Mushroom, simple as that! They live in the woods in little villages.

# The Coraxins

Large crows with small arms and no braincells, they playful and curious, and have great musical hearing, hence they love movin' and dancing!

# The Mothaurs

Moth with a Centaur-like build, they live in the Mountains near praries, they fly and trot, they snuggle and sleep, what a good life...

# The Planxies

Sentient plants with the shape of a pixie, the gem in their chest contains their magic and life-force
