i love dandadan because like. it's a commentary on trauma and the importance of family. it's fucking full of history and classics references. it's got a literally-and-metaphorically strong female lead with a boy tacked on. it's about how hurt people hurt people, the exploited lower classes, and how war is a horrible thing that does nothing but ruin lives. it's a thriller; it's a romcom; it's a love letter to science fiction.

this entire package is delivered via fetch quest for some poor castrated mfer's balls.

I have a friend who is very into sumo.
