On the 22nd of July 2021 a new expansion pack came out and this was called  ✨ COTTAGE LIVING ✨ this pack looks like its going to be a lot of fun my first impressions with this pack is that they really hit the nail on the head. I've not had time to play the actual game but I have enjoyed building my sim and house in advance of playing. Going through the clothing I have discovered two items of clothing I have fallen in love with. for example this cute little sweater with cows on it!

In the image beside is the sim I created his name is David. I made his every day outfit to include the sweater I was talking about how cute is that.  🐄

I also made him have dungarees as any proper farmer should own for them muddy days. which I shall share another picture below of.

As an overall thought I would say the clothing is very stylish with a countryside twist.

I started my build with a shell that my close friend and streamer @strawberrypanda__ created as a side note I would check out her builds and shells they are really good. The build focuses on a modern but traditional cottage feel I made my sims favourite colour yellow so I thought I would create the theme of the house yellow. I also made the house to have a lot of flowers as they would create a very countryside feeling.

I wanted to add my animals into a pen so I used the new fence as a border to stop them from running away. I also created the field to look like its been a bit overgrown so my animals had a lot of coverage to live in.

I asked StrawberryPanda for a short review on the pack eventhough we are on the same part of building and creating sims I thought it would be nice to hear from someone else.

'This is a pack that I've really been looking forward to and it definitely didn't disappoint! I am very much a builder but the CAS items surprised me and I cannot wait to play! The CAS has such a mix of modern and more countryside clothes that there really is something for everyone. The build and buy items are very different from what I would usually use, as I am a more modern builder, however I've loved building in this new and different style. Probably because it reminds me so much of home. Although I have not got to play with game play yet, I 100% recommend this pack!!!'  - StrawberryPanda

On the note that panda made of the it feeling home that is very accurate as from the uk you are surrounded by fields and cottage vibes so I feel she really made a good point there.

Start of something big! 

Hi everyone and thanks for reading my first blog post I thought I would spend this first post to let you all know about me.

My name is Tom, Im 21 and live in the UK as you may tell by my homepage photo I am a keen photographer I have studied photography for many years and now Im just finishing my university degree in the subject.

I have struggled with mental health in the past so I am a true believer in mental health and that you should get support this can be talked about in another post later if this is of any interest.

I am a part of the LGBTQ community so I want to make this a place for everyone to feel accepted.

Fun fact I own 2 Dogs and love animals in general Ive had a variety of animals in the past.

I think with every post I do I will share an image I have taken or really like to share with everyone. So have a picture of my dog Joey.
