today im busy thinking abt the fact that rose only took up knitting bc john saw her being VERY invested in the occult nd psychology nd decided to gift her a knitting kit for her birthday bc he decided she needed a normal hobby. like that would seem SO passive aggressive in real life but he did it w no malice, she accepted it w no malice nd then she gen took up knitting as a hobby bc of it like what. walking up to the goth kid like yeah you can read edgar allan poe poems later but now how abt you learn how to bake a pie? nd the goth kid is just like ok :) nd then starts making pies for all of their friends. slay honestly

i think most people could agree that Hiveswap lore and Homestuck lore are just two different things at this point, but the wildest thing they did was entirely fuck up how literally EVERYONE perceives purplebloods forever.

the fact that we have not seen a SINGLE PURPLEBLOOD that isn't a murdery clown cultist of some kind is infuckingsane. i get that people enjoy Chahut and (for some fucking reason) Marvus, but i thought we all knew that was a niche group. as in, the whole Mirthful Messiah cult is INTRODUCED as being obscure and weird. not "every single purpleblood ever is in the cult".

Anyway I like equius as a transfem person. I just really really love the idea of representation for trans people who struggle with hygiene. I love representation of trans girls with "masculine" hobbies. With "masculine" features. Equius deserves to become a blue girl. My ideal epilogue would include an arc of her discovering her femininity and growing to be comfortable within it and working out her own issues through the lense of insight this gives her. Not every trans person ever needs to transition, but maybe we should be allowed to actively see a trans person transition and show this as a good thing that benefits them and their development.
