Verizon unveiled a fresh new look earlier this year and challenged Brilliant to develop different ideas for their retail attire. Our team studied the market, pulling inspo from some of our favorite brands.
We also took a trip back to the mid-2000s, when mobile OS was in its infancy, with the majority of the focus on hardware design. The diamond-encrusted Baby Phat flip phone wasn't just a device but a meaningful work of art—an extension of your aesthetic...
Back then, stores like Verizon only needed simple gallery spaces to house it all. The phones were the true stars.
I am not a fashion designer, but playing one for the day while creating these styles felt awesome. Rather than designing a single iconic look (like Apple's blue t-shirts), we opted for a flexible system, allowing employees to showcase their style.
