The Painter's lament

Not a vent nor a cry for help, simply just wanted to showcase a little update on my behated Emerson, I haven't exactly drawn in weeks because of mental health reasons and overall lack of motivation.

My negligence has affected him greatly, but don't worry, you'll not see this version of him from now on until much later

Raven Brooks is literally a ghost town! everyone got their own paranormal stories to tell

Ghosts only manifest to those who they think have unfinished business with, they're harmless most of the time, though some long gone souls might become hostile and attack the nearest human being they can sense.

Sacred candles should keep them at bay.

I don't show it often but I appreciate immensely the nice supportive comments I get when it comes to posts about my selfship, at first I wasn't expecting nor sure people would even be interested in that type of stuff from me knowing most just like fanart but it's truly just lovely that there's a lot of folks that enjoy it as much as me !!

When I'm not drawing them all lovey dovey I spend hours trying to understand what kind of relationship they have because I don't even have idea

Trying to explain my selfship in simple words is a hard task because, what are they? They're too close to be friends but too unserious to be partners

I guess they're a secret mysterious option

I'm no writer, in fact I quite suck at writing down my thoughts into cohesive sentences, It doesn't help that I have a hard time trying to understand how relationships work, so you got an autistic person struggling to understand human connections once again lol

Should prolly stick to drawing them all cutesy but it gets tiring after a while, I might have to polish my writing skills if I want to avoid getting burnout on the thing I love the most 😔

I wanted to draw one last thing before going to travel to see my friends for the whole weekend, meaning I won't be able to post because of it but once I come back I'll go back to regular posting hehe

Wasn't able to find more dead characters so I had to add Emerson to fill in the empty space LOL

a HN AU I thought of a while ago CW yap session:

" After being evicted from his apartment and having no choice but to move back to his childhood home in Raven Brooks, Nicky locks himself in his house for fear of encountering the person who tormented him as a child. As a result of living in a secluded, dusty and unkept place he begins to see what he thinks are hallucinations of his childhood friend.

In the midst of going insane he gets a call from an unknown person telling him that he's being haunted as well.

Both don't know why or if they're the only ones who can see these ghosts but one thing they both agreed on is that it must be linked to the Peterson's disappearance. "

Basically every character that died in the series appears as a ghost, their hostility depends on how they passed and the circumstances, some ghosts are aggressive while others aren't, some retain the humanity they once had while the ones who don't are husks of who their were and impossible to communicate with.

Here's some misc doodles to show a little more of this AU, I couldn't draw everything I wanted to show but I hope that the little summary and images gives a basic understanding of what's about.

BEAR TRAPPED

Hi! Hello! New fandom, which is kind of ironically based on one of the old horror games people might consider 'cringe' (Hello Neighbor!), so a bit nervous to share this haha. ^^ Anyways, Quentin! It has a lot of lore I found by watching Zac play the game and watching the show (plus a secret headcannon. I wonder if y'all can figure that out, I doubt it though.) Enjoy.
