Highlights of the 1991 Script

So there’s a scrapped script from the 1992 movie, called Hard Promises, from back when it was a drama instead of a Disney musical, that is so much darker and more complex than either the stage show or the 1992 movie. Lots of CW, it’s not happy.

the bee em cee server decided to change out names to newsies and wear the newsboy hats and play among us together while on vc, refusing to leave the button table at skeld because we’re on strike. no doing tasks, no doing emergencies unless they prevent us from using the button to accuse people of betraying the strike so we can throw them out the airlock

immediately buttons walked away from the meeting table and we voted them out for being a scab and won because he turned out to be the impostor
