Director John Huston, a kitten and Susan Tyrrell behind-the-scenes on Fat City, 1972. 

This was a recent find and I was hesitant to post it as it is well documented that SuSu had a difficult relationship with the film, specifically with the director. 

While Fat City certainly opened some doors for her thanks to her Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress, her relationship with John Huston was not a pleasant one, and, sadly, soured her career aspirations and tainted her perspective on Hollywood for the rest of her life. 

However, despite all of the horror, and like the trouper she was, she persevered and left us with a wonderful film performance that generations to come can watch and enjoy.
