4th Nov
It was painfully cold getting out of our bunk beds and out to the showers and into new clothes. Breakfast was served at the hostel and then we were on our way in our rented car to the Park. To our disappoint the weather wasn't really as one might have hoped when going to see one of the worlds wonders. In fact the majority of the day it was pouring with rain and very windy. But none the less our mood was far from affected and the drive was long but beautiful and fun in a strange way. Having a car gave us the independence and chance to stop wherever we wanted and for however long we wished to stay. Although it was foggy and cloudy and not much could be seen we were shunned by the turquoise waters and contrasting black sand shoes, green mountains and long and wide landscapes. We drove through the park the entire day and gave back the car around night time. We shared some food and wine at a little place locally- Lucy found a gram of cocaine in my wallet I had lent her meaning I had carried it with me all the way from Buenos Aires. Luck in unluck. then headed back to our domo. It was obviously freezing Decided to sleep in one bed all together because it was windy outside

Our plane was at 8.10 so we had to wake up at 6am. Attached to our backpacks and carrying our warm clothes we fell into a cab but had to stop as Lucy forgot her scarf and Mara had forgotten her wallet. Made it to the airport and made the flight. When we arrived we took a cab to the city centre and stopped for some lunch, then proceeded to take another bus for three hours to Puerto natales. Finally around 6 we arrived. Although we had zero plans and the weather was pretty gruesome our mood was amazing. The hostel we are staying in is called dome and consists of these little tents wit three bunk beds in them. Super cute but a little cold. We accidentally threw out our visa into chile so we had to go to the police station and get a new one. Having arrived with zero plan we had to sort of improvise the entire trip, and finally decided to rent a car. By the time all that was done it was dinner time and we had some fish and beers at a recommended local little place. Now we are lying in our bunk beds in the dome. I'm in the rop one and wearing two hoodies, pants and socks

2nd Nov
I slept relatively well throughout the night besides from the odd strange dream. For breakfast we ate our prepared chia puddings and drank about 7 cups of hostel coffee. Quite abit of effort went into deciding what to eat for lunch and then we almost missed our bus to Santiago. We made the bus just on time with two hamburgers, snacks and were very very relieved to have made it. The bus ride to Santiago took around 9hours in total but it was a beautiful journey.. We drove through mountains and hills with snow on the top, dessert looking landscapes, crystal blue lagoon lakes, grass and plant covered fields for as far as you can see and down steep redish and brow sand hills. It was so stunning and it was quite relaxing to read a book and listen to abit of music. Finally we were on the road, finally out of Argentina. It was overwhelming and confusing to arrive in Santiago but we ordered an uber to our friend Arthur's place of whom had kindly invited us to stay with him. His roommate victor cooked us pasta and we ate together once  lucy arrived on the couch. Arthur, victor, Mara and I went to one of their friends parties in the olden part of town in a really cool old house which used to be owned by some Chilean poet, Pablo something I forgot the name. The party was cool and even though I was quite tired I stayed later to speak with Arthur (guru) at the party. We had a really nice conversation. It's been a while I have spoken to someone like that. If I had to write down everything we spoke about it would fill the entire page but you know those rare conversations you wish you could record and just play them over and over again. I really like him talking to him felt easy as if he understood exactly what I was saying. Deep down I guess we all just want to be understood. We spoke a lot about finding your quest in life and how to keep yourself anchored. And he said something about re confirming yourself in the acts that you do daily to remember who you are - I liked that. He also said that maybe I should have travelled alone which I think is also true sometimes. We walked home from the party and crossed this old colonial style building which was clearly a squatters house.. We walked upstairs and inside.

After a 16h bus drive to Mendoza we finally arrive. We stumble with our bags out of the bus and find a cab to our hostel. Our hostel consists of a main room with red painted walls and leather couches. It's smells like burnt toast and there's a bunch of bare feet English mainly young guys on their cellphones scowled around the room. We spend about 2 hours trying to find a wine tour for the day as we havnt pre booked anything and keep in mind we still aren't really speaking to each-other. Spending far too much energy trying not to get a long. We mutually finally decide to drop the silence treatment and spend quite a nice day. We're hurried on to this mini bus with middle aged old people and go to two wine bodegas and an olive farm. It wasn't too bad however the entire thing was in Spanish but apparently they were mostly explaining their irrigation systems. We head for our last dinner in Argentina and indulge a huge steak each and a bottle of Malbec. It was bound sooner or later to be time to discuss our fight but it felt as if both of us had more or less forgotten why it started, so we discussed it for a moment then let it go. We walk back to our hostel and pass out in each of our bunks.

We're in the front of the bus out of Buenos Aires to Mendoza. I'm not as sad to leave Buenos Aires as I thought I would be I guess I am kind of used to leaving places by now. I feel like I should perhaps be more sad but I think it's time to go. Last night we threw a last dinner with all our friends here on our rooftop we ordered Chinese food and drank beer and smoked cigerettes. Then everybody hugged and went home. Strange how people become friends and decide to spend their time together. Two months flew by, when I arrived it was rainy and grey and gloomy. It's almost summer here now. I was so lost when I arrived, I still am abit but I have really had some time to think.. I can't really tell you what I have concluded from all that thinking but it's definitely positive. I guess I am just getting to know myself step by step, trying to coexist in this confusing world. The girls I have met here are all beautiful. We have shared some incredible moments, those moment when you stop giving a shit and just let go. We all know that each and every one of us is as fucked up and lost as the other and coincidentally i think thats why we get along
