I've made posts about the CQM finding out/thinking Shen Qingqiu and Shang Qinghua are in a romantic relationship, but how would they react if they announced themselves as sworn brothers

Liu Qingge and Yue Qingyuan would be baffled, what did Shang Qinghua have that made him more capable than them? He's a coward that would faint at the slightest bit of hostility, how could Shen Qingqiu expect him to have his back in battle

Meanwhile Shen Qingqiu is like 'sure we can be brothers, you already fucking annoy me so we might as well make it official'

In related news, I’ve finished vol 2 of Svsss and I think I’m starting to get the appeal of Shen Qingqiu. Whilst his straight man act is not hitting He Yu levels of clownery it’s half way there.

Hilarious to me how he assumes everyone who is in love with him is asexual initially.

Also Liu Qingge is super pretty and deserves nice things.

Ever wonder why Shen Yuan, the man who spent his entire life as NEET house hobbit somehow became the most charming, kind and wife beam owning member of SVSSS? Well here’s an angsty reason why— (EhEhEhE)

See because I’m chronically miserable I’ll spread like a disease during rainy season. What if he was a shut in but didn’t want to be? We all headcanon him as being sick, when he was a child, he’d get sick and everyone around him would worried

What is this time it’s too much? What if this is his last time? What if it’s actually it this time? What if he’s dying? Everyone made such a big deal out of his sickness all the time and they’d get so worried about it— six year Shen yuan felt horrible

His little friends would make him cards and he’d catch the small tear marks left behind on them and it would break his heart. He hated seeing people suffer— his friends, family, all of them

So little Shen yuan stood up on shaky legs and an IV tube in his arms and slowly walked to the window. He stared at the star-less sky with city air and clouds resembling factory smog and he made a promise; He will not worry anyone anymore. He won’t worry his friends or his family.

He became recluse. He stopped leaving his room. He never talked to his friends. He demanded he be home-schooled. He rarely interacted with people but when he did he was terribly kind. The servants loved him and looked forward to get him food, the maid would leave out toys for him and headchef always made his favorite breakfast

The trick worked in his family like a charm. In his eyes, they flourished away from him and this only confirmed his suspicions. He was a burden. He was better off gone. The day he turned eighteen he moved to a new apartment and all the servants cried because how could they not? This boy they’ve seen grow up with the kindest soul, the one who’d barely have the ability to get up but still waved them goodbye from the windows was finally leaving and the worst part? His family didn’t seem to care. There was no one left to care.

When he left, bags in hand, the good bye felt like forever.

The cycle continued, he remained reclusive and alone. His heart yearned for contact— for love and for care and for talking because SY loved to talk. That’s why he gravitated towards online commentary. He had so much to say but no one to hear him. Can you imagine living a life standing in a stage with an empty audience? Living each moment like a washed-up singer waiting for someone to notice them

He was awfully lonely and he couldn’t do a thing about it. He’d die anyway. Shen yuan wasn’t living, he was just dying. He lived half his life in hospitals with hope attached to his mouth as an oxygen mask and the other half mourning himself in front of porcelain bowls with day old vomit and yesterday’s flushed fever.

There was no one for him. He was alone. And it was his choice. Let that sink in

So yeah he got along with everyone after that, ofcourse he did, he spent a life time yearning for a chance to be loved, is it so shocking he took it?

Zombie Song is such a strange fic because it's super short and very little even happens in it but there are so many small details hidden in it that years after reading it for the first time I regularly go back to it again and again trying to figure it out

The fic mentions 1) hospital outbreaks 2) shen yuan is more intelligent than other zombies 3) shen yuan had stitches holding his limbs together before he started rotting 4) looks like Binghe's old shizun

It always leaves me with so many questions. Why did Shen Yuan have those stitches. What is Shen Jiu's relationship with Shen Yuan. Is it a coincidence that Shen Yuan was hospitalized, knows Shen Jiu, and he's so different from other zombies

I need a sequel where we find out Binghe's scumbag shizun tried to save his little brother but did it in such a messed up way it caused the apocalypse. I need shen jiu and binghe to meet again and see shen jiu's face when he finds out his long lost brother who he thought was gone for good has been with Binghe. Need Shen Yuan wordlessly stubbornly holding onto Binghe while Shen Jiu gets more and more angry.

I wish I knew the authours social media or something so I could ask them because bc they haven't been active on ao3 in forever. Everytime I read this fic I look like this

The Shen Yuan who marries Shang Qinghua to give his not-best-friend rights over his health (to visit him in the ICU, for example, or keep him company when he was recovering from complex surgical interventions), and that when they transmigrate, they actually meet too soon in the plot and continue with their visits, companionship, afternoon teas and random walks around.

It is until some other Peak Lord asks about their closeness that Shen Qingqiu, used to that from his old life, just says "Oh, we are married." Just like he would say something natural. Because it is natural for him. He has said it so many times in hospitals and different places that it comes to him almost automatically.

Unfortunately, perhaps too automatic, because suddenly there is a collective GASP among all the Peak Lords who do not understand HOW, WHEN AND WHY???? Shen Qingqiu married Shang Qinghua. SHANG QINGHUA?

Shen Qingqiu wants to hide under a mountain and forget about his mistake. And everyone wants and demands to celebrate the wedding and pay their respects and send red envelopes. The Peak Lord's wedding should be a celebration, not a secret!!!

... Shen Qingqiu can't hit Shang Qinghua this time because it is indeed entirely his fault. Ah fuck.

Sure demons and ghosts are scary but they deal with all that on the daily

But I also wanna read/write possession which would be scary, or a haunting

We have fics where SY gets haunted by a displaced SJ but

What about SJ getting haunted by SY bc.. there's no where for SY to go now and the System kinda just left him there tied to SJ

Like.. what if haunting and possession of SJ was a real thing and the scary kind,,

It could also be a nice point of reconciliation and trying to better himself and his life to fight an entity off...
