Thalia has those adorable freckles across her nose and on her arms. Luke adores said freckles. He would count them, when she fell asleep. He would trace them with his finger if she was having a bad day-“What are you doing?”“Your freckles. They’re almost like little stars.” “That didn’t answer my question. What are you doing?”“Connecting the constellations.”

That's true. It used to be my dream school and everything, but I'm already contented here in New York. I honestly don't care about a Harvard degree anymore, plus the people there are so prim and proper -- not my kind of crowd.

Well, I don’t know how to help you with that since I’m only fifteen. But Harvard is not an opportunity that knocks twice in the door. And yes, it will hurt to leave New York and all the family, but it’s your future. Think about how many doors will open just because of a Harvard degree.

Well, there was a customer in the pub the other night who happens to be some kind of executive at Harvard. The guy offered a scholarship if I passed the interviews, and Jared is really excited and it's great, but I'm just not feeling Harvard anymore.

Well… thank you. It means a lot hearing that. But what did Uncle Jed do this time?
