What are everyone's personal headcanons for the batfamily timeline????

I like to think that Bruce is about 26 when he meets Dick (8) and decides to adopt this small hyperactive child. Dick begs to be Robin, and Bruce only agrees on the condition that he doesn't go out until he's 12 (because surely Dick's not committed enough to train for 4 years)(sorry Bruce you were wrong about that)

Jason (12) comes along when Dicks just turned 17 and is going through a very rough patch with Bruce. I think Dick would still be living in the manor, but spending most nights with the Titans. After a rocky start Dick ends up loving Jason, and eventually making up with Bruce because of it. Jason becomes Robin after about a years training simply because Bruce couldn't use the 'you're too young' excuse when Dick was allowed on the streets at 12 (plus Nightwings there to watch out for him too)

Jason dies when he's 15, and around the same time he's resurrected Tim (11) shows up asking to be the next Robin. After a ton of training he's eventually allowed out to fight crime, but only a year later (when he's 13/14) his parents are killed and he gets adopted by Bruce (Also around this same time Steph becomes Robin for a little bit but I don't have any solid plans about that) When Tim's about 15, Jason (now 18) starts his attacks on Gotham (and Tim).

Cass (14/15) joins the family pretty soon after Tim is adopted. Bruce adopts her and tries to give her a normal life, but she still wants to help others so Barbara gives her Batgirl (because Bruce has absolutely no power over the batgirls). After Stephanie's stint at Robin, Cass gives her Batgirl and becomes Black Bat (and sidenote: yes, I do think Cass deserves to be the next Batman)

Finally Damian (10) shows up and is promptly a little shit to everyone in the family. The whole Batman-stuck-in-time stuff happens when Damians 11, meaning Dick (who's 25 at this point) is stuck raising him. Tim goes off to find Bruce as Red Robin, allowing Damian to finally claim the role of Robin.

The whole battle for the cowl thing doesn't really happen and Jason ends up getting drawn back into the family (because let's be honest, no Bruce with his extreme morals and Tim being more distanced from the family is probably the best time for Jason to reconnect with Alfred and Dick)

When Tim finally rejoins the family, dragging Bruce back with him, everyone's a lot more chill, and after a lot of avoidance and awkward conversations Bruce and Jason make up. Also after a year of having Dick as a parental figure, Damian is much less of a shit and is able to at least be civil with Tim.

The ages have probably gotten a bit confusing at this point but at the end its: Bruce (44), Dick (26), Jason (21), Cass (19), Tim (17/18) and Damian (12)

This is honestly just a patchwork of canon combined with my intense need for the Batfam to actually get on and actually make a few rational decisions (because honestly who tf thought it was ok to let an 8 year old be Robin, have you ever met an 8 year old??). Also I am currently trying to read more Duke comics so that I can add him into my little timeline to make the family even more chaotic. This isn't even my only timeline, I have a whole separate one for the young justice universe
