Starting a hate blog is just a shitty thing to do. We’re all adults here.

But to play devils advocate, it seems one of their grievances was that none of the ‘popular’ blogs support any of the newer ones, and this fandom can be very clique-y.

I’ve stepped away from this fandom for awhile due to it and just started coming back in the past few weeks but it doesn’t seem like much has changed unfortunately. It would be nice to see some of the bigger blogs supporting more than the just the other big blogs?

This is the only time I'm going to address that other blog.

Nothing gives you a reason to gossip and talk shit about someone you don't know. Idk if you read it, but there were posts about people's personal lives which is unacceptable.

Yes, people tend to stay with those they know. But to "play devil's advocate" (which I fucking hate), did they try to interact with folks? I've interacted with folks who some would accuse of being cliquey and they were very lovely and willing to interact with me.

Hey, I know y’all are all blocking that new gossip blog that’s trying to start drama and that’s great, but people that get posted about need to also report the blog for harassment (by reporting the individual post as harassment that mentions their blog by name). This is how we got the last gossip blog deleted. They’re violating tumblr’s code of conduct by using anon features to harass others. Can you please spread this around? 💕

I haven't blocked them yet because I want to see their downfall firsthand, but I've already reported their blog and I hope it gets taken down soon. I'll share this to encourage everyone to report the blog, and if you've been mentioned by name or url, please report that individual post for harassment.

I stepped out of the Marvel fandom into TGM about 8 months ago, moving from posting on Ao3 to Tumblr, and I have to say - the level of support here is so heartwarming. It doesn't seem like there's a single person whose inbox isn't open, or who doesn't want to engage in some way. Even when the negativity comes in, people rally to notify the impacted people and counteract that.

I'm so grateful to everyone whose embraced me coming in, as this is a wonderful little home away from home. There are too many people to mention in my complements/shout outs, but thank you so much to everyone in the fandom for being supporting and uplifting one another ❤️ And thank you for making this blog to continue that.
