Jayce's look for Coachella 2025

Jayce knew what Valentina was going through, considering he was going through it too, though he wasn't sure if Valentina was handling it better than him or worse. Shaking his head at her obvious fake smile, he gave her a warm, and a real one, in return. "You don't have to pretend when it comes to me. I am sadly going through the same thing you are."
Valentina was holding it together by the fraying threads of her favorite designer handbag. The boutique smelled like rosewater and new money — familiar, comforting, almost enough to keep her upright. She wandered through the racks like she had a purpose, like she wasn't spiraling, like she wasn’t still waking up and reaching for someone who wasn’t there.
Killian was gone. No goodbye, no closure. Just vanished. Like she was a phase he’d grown out of. She told herself she didn’t care. Again. And again. And again. As if repetition could rewrite heartbreak.
Her fingers skimmed a sequined jacket, ridiculous and loud — something she’d never wear, but maybe that was the point. Something new. Something distracting. Something that sparkled enough to pull attention away from the ache.
She didn’t hear the footsteps at first. “Val?” came a familiar voice, gentle but edged with surprise.
Valentina stiffened. Her spine straightened, mask snapping into place like clockwork. She turned, all polished grace and a fake smile that didn’t reach her eyes. “Oh, hey,” she said, too bright, too rehearsed. “Didn’t see you there.”
She clutched the jacket tighter, like it was a shield. Like it could keep her from shattering in the middle of the store. “Just doing a little… retail therapy,” she added with a laugh that was light and hollow. “You know how it is.”
God, she was tired. @rededgerpstarterblog

"Hey Petra." Jayce returned the hug and let go of her and laughed. "I don't think I look that good, I think that's just because of how much time you've been spending in the studio." He teased her. "Really not much is going on in my life, you know?"
As Petra stepped out of the café, tucking her sunglasses into her bag, her eyes lit up when she spotted a familiar face across the street—the kind she hadn’t seen in months thanks to endless studio sessions and late-night recording.
"Wait—no way!" she called out, practically jogging across the street. "Oh my god, I can’t believe it’s actually you!"
She threw her arms around her friend, laughing. "I’ve missed you so much! I swear, I’ve been living in that damn studio. I feel like I’ve been off the grid for a year."
Pulling back, she grinned. "You look amazing! What have I missed? Tell me everything!" @rededgerpstarterblog

"Mostly the vibes just calling me again." Jayce said and looked at Elenea with a smile. "Besides you and I haven't hung out or spoken in a really long time so I thought it was time for a catch up, you know?"
The bells above the door gave their usual soft chime, letting in a swirl of warm air and the scent of something baked and sweet from the café down the block. Sunlight poured through the stained-glass charms hanging in the window, casting soft blue and green shadows across the shelves of crystals, candles, and carefully curated witchy oddities.
Elena stood behind the counter at Turquoise Witch, stacking a few new tarot decks that had just come in. She was halfway through placing The Moonlit Veil on display when she glanced up and spotted a familiar face walking through the door.
“Well, look who the universe dragged in,” she said with a smirk, sliding the deck into place and brushing her hands off on her skirt. “Took you long enough—I was about to start talking to these cards like they were people.”
She leaned an elbow on the counter, clearly amused. “You here for something specific, or just felt the vibes calling you in again?” @rededgerpstarterblog

"There you are!" Jayce said with a smile when he spotted Alexa outside of Flroez Bar. "Hey there Lexa!" He greeted her and hugged her. He was clearly drunk but at least he wasn't at home crying over Sloane leaving him. @whitealexxa

"We are friends, yeah." Jayce nods and looks at Lydia and smiles. "How have you been?"
"Of course, I mean we are friends, are we not?" She asked and looked at him

"No, not at all, but that makes me wonder how we'll make sure how great the last day is."
Declan leaned against the wooden railing of the beachside bar, watching the sun dip below the horizon, painting the Costa Rican sky in shades of orange and pink. He took a slow sip of his drink, glancing at his friend with a smirk. "Not bad for our first day, huh?" he said, the warm breeze ruffling his hair. @rededgerpstarterblog

Jayce looked at Kiara and couldn't help but smile and chuckle. "I get it, it's been a good day." He said.
Kiara leaned back in her chair, stretching her sore legs as the scent of sizzling seafood and fresh citrus filled the air. The restaurant was lively, filled with laughter and the hum of conversation, the perfect way to end a day of exploring. "I don't think I've ever been this exhausted and this happy at the same time." She admitted, taking a sip of her drink. @rededgerpstarterblog

"I know, it's been a whirlwind of a month, but it's been a lot of fun too."
"Someone make time stop, I do not want March to end, especially not with how fun this month's Sunday Funday has been." @rededgerpstarterblog

Jayce looked at Lydia and gave her a small smile. "I'm glad that I was able to get out of the house for a while and thanks for inviting me." He said.
"God, I love it out here at night—the way the streetlights glow against the water just hits different." Lydia looked at the person she was out with. "You ever notice how the air smells like a mix of salt, rum, and someone grilling, like, three blocks away?" She aked with a smile. "I swear, I could walk these streets forever and never get bored—there’s always something happening, even in the quiet." She added. "Come on, let’s take the long way back; I’m not ready for this night to end yet." @rededgerpstarterblog

"Exactly, I think she's famous because of her being a technical nepo baby, not because she has any talent."
Brooke laughed. "No, no she really hasn't ever been able to act. I mean, unless she's playing herself, then yeah, she's golden."

"Hey, there is nothing wrong with that." Jayce said with a chuckle. "We all have our celebrity crushes."
"I mean, I think that's pretty obvious that I watch shit for Taylor, she's hot as hell."

"I mean, yeah we'll have to deal with him until he's no longer president and yes, after he dies, people will stories about him, but stories fade and one day, future generations will hopefully not give a fuck about him."
"That would be great, actually." Devin said. "Though I feel like we're sadly always going to have to deal with that person."

"I think you just want an excuse to have me surrounded by flowers." He teased and looked at her and returned the kiss. Pulling away, he smiled at her and winked. "We can do cherry blossoms, though I honestly don't care what flowers we get because at the end of the day, all I want is to be married to you. Nothing else matters to be me baby girl."
Jayce chuckled when he heard and felt Sloane on him. "Hmm, I think I'm down for everything except for the quiz on floral arrangements, I don't think I'd be able to pass that." He joked and looked over his shoulder at his wife but gave her a warm smile. "Kiss first and then Pinterest, yeah?"

Jayce looked at Patrick and chuckled. "Look, there's nothing wrong with eating unhealthy, so long as you don't do it every day, you know?" He asked. "I say get both and whichever cereal you really want in the morning, go and have it."
Patrick stood frozen in front of the cereal aisle at the grocery store, staring intently at two boxes of cereal in his hands. “Okay, hear me out,” he said, turning to the nearest person. “Do I go with the one that has marshmallows but probably tastes like regret? Or this one, which is healthy but makes me feel like I’m chewing on sadness?”
He held them both up like he was presenting a game show prize. “Help me out here—this decision is shaping the whole vibe of my week.”
