I didn’t want to have to kill anyone, honestly. I guess I was just using my Sponsors’ gifts in more self-defense?
The Final Interview
We’re back after a few delays!
So, George, what was it like in the Arena?

A bit weird, honestly. I didn’t expect to be in an abandoned mall, honestly.

Um... What?
Last night, apparently an anonymous sponsor had the Game Makers send me a package. I saw it when I woke up this morning. In the silver container, I found some heavy-duty wire cutters and a pair of electrical gloves.
So I hatched an idea. I knew I couldn’t get outside the mall to use the force field keeping us here... which made me think that there was still some electricity in the building.
I started running around the mall, trying to strip down as many wires as I could, leading them all to water puddles that had pooled around the mall from leaky roofs from recent rains.
Kiri found one of my traps and was electrocuted. I heard a cannon and knew I had to act quickly to get done before Thanos tracked me down.
And somehow I got lucky. I heard Thanos pass through a few before another cannon sounded.
I’d survived. And I should’ve died before both of them.

WWBD?
I wandered around the creepy abandoned mall we were all locked in. In trying to find a place to hide, thinking “What would Bess do?” even though she would’ve hated this mall in particular.
The jewelry store on the lower floor by one of the recessed courtyards was a no-go. The only thing left in it was a safe, and it was backed into a corner (and way too massive to move enough to hide behind).
The hair salon I saw wasn’t good, either. All that was left there were a handful of posters, a single stylist station that was just the counter-and-cabinet at that point, and the beginning of a ceiling cave-in near the back of the salon.
So I just decided “Screw it, I’m going to the food court.” Luckily, all the former fast-food places still had counters, so I just ducked down behind one for the night.

So, I ran into the Cornucopia and grabbed a bag of supplies and a gun. Everyone else had the same idea.
Thanos was the first person out, followed by Kiri. Sonny was the last person out after me and Carmen.
Thanos fired off a warning shot, which ended up ricocheting off of what looked like a force field that was apparently funneling us to the mall at the end of the parking lot.
But the force field was apparently strong enough that the ricocheting bullet somehow bounced hard enough to hit Sonny in the leg, causing him to slow down even more.
Bloodbath at the Cornucopia: Round Four
In a twist from previous Fandom Games, the Cornucopia is in an empty parking lot. And the Arena is an abandoned shopping mall.
Ladies and Gentlemen… Let the Fandom Games begin!
A gong sounds, and the five Tributes run off round, metal platforms. They head for the Cornucopia, where they fight for the supplies they think that they’d need to survive in the Games, in what is expected to be the bloodiest part of the Games.

I mean, I would’ve said something about Pacific Run if that had gone well...
