Adventure Prep: Ship Improvement
Q's log, stardate 2950 Our ship, she be aged and worn but she's a good ship that has gotten us through many adventures. So it's always a special moment for X to be able to make a few improvements when we can. Today, we replaced an old cargo hold that had compartments that wouldn't hold up any longer. The railings kept slipping causing a lot of jams in the doors. After a few hours of good old fashioned hammer, driver, and elbow work, X was able to replace the hold with all new parts. This gave us, after some polish, an all new shiny hold with jelly smooth railings and no jams. It's always nice to give back to those, who have given us so much especially our adventuring ship.

Adventure Prep: Supplies
Q's log, stardate 2936 Before any adventure can start one must get supplies. This particular supply run occurred late into the evening. Normally not a good idea as it makes it more difficult to avoid zombs but an important last minute journey had to be undertaken bright and early. The risk had to be taken. Fortunately there was only one incident with a rather dim walker who ended being pushed into a pool of hungry crabs. Hopefully this doesn't lead to a future of zombie crabs.

the Adventures of X: Zombie Hunting!
Q's log, stardate 2914
On most days we try to avoid zombies. It's a bit tiresome and repetitive to shoot down the never ending hoard of walking uglies.
Something must have gotten into X today. Or maybe he was just itching for some action after being cooped up in the fort for the last few days. During lunch he suddenly stopped his normal everyday activity of jumping around and sat still thinking for a moment. Then he got that look in his eyes. You know, that look when he wants to get into a little mischief. He grabbed his last bite of rice and dried fish and went straight for his equipment chest, pulled out his Zombie Strike crossbow and headed for the Time Fly room. It was easy to determine where he was headed. There's only one place anyone goes with a Zomb-strike weapon. Walker World.
Zombies, walkers, uglies, call 'em what you want, in the end, they end up the same way in front of X. Crossbow dart through the left eye hole. Sitting on top of a building, picking off walkers gets boring real fast so X decided to get a little closer to the action. We took cover under some overgrown flower beds and sent darts flying at close range. When the first target hit the floor the walkers around it took notice but couldn't figure out what happened so they continued roaming around aimlessly. It's pretty fun directing them into position to strike at a left eye hole. There is only so much one can do with zombies though. After 30 minutes of walker wasting X was done with his fun. It was back to round table for us. Back to home world until the next adventure.

Too Tired to Enjoy the Time
Working double duty to make ends meet makes me as tired as a bull run bull’s eye. This also means that it is sometimes hard to enjoy all of X’s antics. I find myself getting grumpy more often then I’d like. Hopefully I can control the stress and get more energized so I don’t turn into a scrooge and I’m able to enjoy the moments X decides to give a leg drop to my head.

The X Man: WWE superstar in training
Funny, I don’t remember ever watching WWE with X yet every time he wants me to get up from lying down he grabs my head or pulls my hair. He has a bright future.

October
What a busy month. Birthdays, birthdays, and Halloween! Xu got a setting at his first pinata. Elmo was not a happy camper but X had fun running in circles trying to take his head off. He felt bad afterward though and tried to reattach Elmo’s had. Carving his first pumpkin was difficult but X went at it with the the enthusiasm of a butcher. And of course Halloween night ended with a lot of walking, running, a few scares, and plenty of candy that is now hidden.

Chilled Lips
So, X seems to like to put his lips on the edge of the refrigerated section of the supermarket. Be it the meat section, vegetable area, or drinks aisle, X enjoys chilling his lips every few feet. Thank goodness I’m not a germaphobe. I’d be going crazy!

Long day today. Met a new friend for his birthday. Then dinner with auntie Lynne Chi. And now X is sick, cranky, and is in need of lots of rest! Good thing auntie Roe went to buy some cold medicine.

Gnomes & 99 Chicken
Tonight we had dinner at 99 chicken with the Gnomes. X picked up popcorn with chopsticks and then picked up all the popcorn he dropped on the floor. Even managed to eat some rice and chicken between feeding daddy popcorn, making everyone drink their beer and soju, and watching Power Rangers. Would post a picture but it keeps showing up upside down. Maybe it’ll be added later then there’s a laptop around.
