I love that Tyler Kennedy goes by TK, and that one important time that Carlos calls him "Tyler." I love that Carlos' mother still calls him Carlitos at like 27 at the market in front of his "work friend." I love that it's canon that TK rubs Carlos' back to help him fall asleep. I love that Carlos eats 6 meals a day, which TK has no problem preparing for him. I love that Carlos bought a loft and TK freaked out so bad he moved back home. I love how they can't sleep without waking up to find the other missing when they rub the empty spot on the bed. I love that they call each other baby. I love that they're so sappy about calling each other "soulmate". I love that they host 126 game nights and that now Carlos fits so perfectly into the family by bringing them donuts in the morning. Basically, I just love their domesticity. But really, I just love THEM.

all i can think about is carlos talking to tk about being ready to adopt jonah and tk’s side of the conversation paralleling carlos’ when tk proposed “we’ve had a pretty dramatic week..” “this isn’t drama. it’s love.”

however. might we discuss carlos snuggling in close to tk and smooching his cheek as they walked away. holding him tight. i know they didn’t let each other go for hours.

At the end of the day…

Tarlos will always be together. Walking towards their beautiful future filled with so much love.

Interesting Ronen not as excited for these episodes and not promoting them as much (and not acknowledging Rafael’s on screen efforts but I won’t go there)- wonder if he was disappointed with how that arc went. Like we all empathised with TK and wanting to save Jonah from Switzerland but that line about choosing him over Carlos left a bad taste and then to have no follow up was very poor writing. God this season needed to be longer.

I just said this elsewhere but I think it bears repeating in regards to TK choosing Jonah over Carlos.

The way I see it, TK is faced with having to choose his happiness over his brother’s. If he stayed with Carlos, who didn’t want Jonah, and let Jonah go, I don’t think TK would ever stop feeling guilty or selfish. To me, it’s not a case ‘I’m leaving you if you don’t do this with me’ but instead ‘I have to do this I’m so sorry’. This is essentially an orphaned kid. Everything about canon TK would make sure that kid is safe and happy instead of prioritizing his own happiness. even though he would be breaking his own heart, he wouldn’t be breaking a three year old boy’s who has lost both parents

What can I say, another great episode!

I love the symbolism of Carlos taking off his hat and immediately cuddling up with Tk.

It shows that his dad has stopped third wheeling in the relationship. He has finally solved his father's murder and taken his place as a true ranger.

However, he states that even though he brought justice to his father, it still hasn't given him the resolution he magically wanted. This leads to him realizing that he isn't going to suddenly heal from his grief and that he needs to deal with that grief, outside of being a ranger. He's done the most he can do with in uniform, now he needs to work on this outside of the uniform.

Now he realizes the importance of focusing on the people around him (as he mentions his mom as an example) and the live surrounding him instead of the love that he's lost.

As soon as TK approaches him to cuddle, he makes sure to take of his hat to let TK know that he is ready to focus on him as he's the most important thing in Carlos's life. That's the beauty of their marriage, they can rely on each other no matter what.

The one thing I dislike about the show is the amount of missed Tarlos moments all series. We've missed so many moments of tarlos. The first i love you's, asking to move in, the break-up, them making up! So many moments they could have showcased Tarlos, and now they are going to be dads and we're going to miss that conversation after all this conflict this season.
