Trump repeats call for Canada to be 51st state were helpful to turn a probable Conservative landslide into a loss. The Liberal party will form a coalition with Bloc Quebecois, Green Party, & New Democratic Party. Liberals fell short of 172 seats needed to form majority government(they won 167)

Today, had another audition. This time for a brand new theatre company ,THE CLASSICS COMPANY . Not willing to make life easier for themselves, they are rolling out in 2026 with THREE CHEKHOV plays : THE SEAGULL, THREE SISTERS, and THE CHERRY ORCHARD. Bravo. I realized that I have NEVER performed in a Chekhov play, and so was excited to try out for any role in any of the plays. The audition took place at MuCCC , the wonderful intimate Black Box Theatre where I was lucky enough to have directed THE LION IN WINTER.

Pleasant people, nice relaxed atmosphere, and once again , I was incredibly relaxed in my audition piece . I never felt myself rushing or worrying , but really in the moment.

It is a nice feeling .

Hopefully, it will lead to a call back.

Meanwhile, work continues on THE DRESSER.
