How do i let go? When i try to let go i let my thoughts flow and end up falling asleep to then wake up in my bed the next morning. Give me a step by step of how you let go to shift. Like tell me whats going on in that gorgeous brain if yours while you do it😫
First, let's address the misconception about letting go. A lot of people when they hear the sentence "letting go and just being" they automatically assume that they have to watch their thoughts or quiet their mind or sit completely still and not make any sudden moves and not jostle your body in any way and not trigger your mind into realizing you're still in your current reality. If you're neurodivergent in any way, that's probably what you think meditation is as well. you have to sit completely still,you have to quiet your mind and you have to be nothing, but we all neurospicy people know that that is an impossible feat. There's no such thing as a quiet mind with absolutely no thoughts. There's no such thing as sitting still and not moving. That's just not how it works for us. So how can we let go? What does that even mean?
Letting Go simply means try not to control the process. You do not have to quiet your mind, you do not have to control your thoughts, you only have to observe and watch. Like watching a movie for the first time, you don't know what's going to happen, you don't know the characters, you don't know the plot, you just sit back and you let it happen. Do the exact same thing with your thoughts, that's essentially what letting go is. You just have to let yourself be, and if your body needs to move let it move. If you have an itch, scratch it. If a bug is crawling on you, flick that motherfucker away. Like I said in a previous post your body is not going to shift with you so what if you move it? Your awareness is the one that shifts, not your brain, not your thoughts, not your body. So if you move, or you can't get your thoughts to focus on your dr, or there's noise around you or there's light behind your closed eyelids... it does not matter!! none of it actually matters. As long as you set the intention that you are going to become aware of a different reality, you will. Hold onto that assumption until it hardens into fact. Because that is the law of assumption.
Now as for actually shifting, you must but know by now that you have two ways of doing it: either awake or asleep. So if you're trying to shift while your mind is still awake, as you sit down go to sleep, you need to let your body fall asleep while your mind stays awake. How does that happen? After you scratched all of your itches and you found your most comfortable position, and you put your subliminal or your playlist or your meditation or your brown noise or whatever it is you want to do, and you have done everything there is to be done and you don't have to worry about a single thing, sit on your bed and just let your body relax. It's incredibly easy for the body to fall asleep. It's just because you have thoughts in your head going on and on and on that you think you're still awake, but that's not the case. That's just your mind that is still awake but your body already fell asleep within minutes. And that's what you want. That's the body asleep mind awake. So when you notice that your body has relaxed and you don't feel the urge to move anymore and there's nothing itching and nothing pissing you off and nothing moving that's when you let go. Let your thoughts flow and set the intention that you're going to shift. The trick is to not let your mind fall asleep. I understand that it's hard, I fell asleep countless times because I am so relaxed and it's winter time and I'm cuddled in a thousand and one blankets. It's natural to fall asleep. That's why I suggest having a playlist or a sound on your headphones while you attempt this because every time the song changes that's a signal for your mind to wake back up if it's getting drowsy. If that's not your thing that's completely fine. instead of letting your thoughts flow focus on one thought. Maybe it's what you're going to do when you wake up in your dr, or maybe it's a conversation you had or plan to have with one of your friends, or maybe it's your significant others eye colors. Doesn't matter just make it specific and focus on the thought and let other thoughts build on it, little by little your awareness will turn to that reality and you will shift. Don't resist it when it happens, just because you are thinking the thoughts doesn't mean that it's actually your Cr self thinking them, it means that that's your awareness shifting.
And then of course, there's the sleep method. And to shift with a sleep method you actually have to fall asleep. So before you do, set the intention that you are going to wake up in your desired reality, think about what you're going to do, your routine, your outfits, your hair, your body, your eyes ... whatever you want, and then fall asleep.
Now what do we do when we set the intention to shift, but then wake up and find ourselves aware of our current reality?
Gaslight the shit out of yourself. Your brain does not shift. Your body does not shift. Your subconscious does not have eyes, it does not have ears, it can't see or hear or witness or live anything. It only accepts your dominant thoughts as a reality. Gaslight that bitch. When your brain goes "oh we didn't shift", you go "how would you know? You literally cannot shift. I'm the one who shifts. I am the awareness. And I shifted last night. I was in my dr, and I did this and this and this. How would you know if we shifted or not you weren't there." By assuming that you have shifted even when the 3D reality has not fully yet conformed, that assumption with time will harden into fact. And you will wake up in your desired reality.
And finally, I know this is the most frustrating piece of advice any shifter can ever get, but you have to keep trying. The only way to shift is to keep trying to shift. The only way to not shift, is to quit and give up and decide that it's not going to happen for you. I know it gets frustrating, and I know that the journey can be long, and I know that we all just want to be in our desired realities, and we will be. We just have to keep trying. Some people are lucky enough to shift on their first try, for the majority of us that was not the case. Some people take months, other take years, but you know what we all have in common? We all shift. We all succeed.

.𖥔 ݁ ˖⌗﹒ if you have been a shifter for a long time, specially ever since the trenches, the begging of the online shifting community, there's a 99% chance you have suffered with countless doubts, such as "is this even real?" "i can't do this." "i'm doing this wrong". and every time you decide to express these (very natural) doubts you are faced with "change your mindset!". frustrating, i know. worry not! these doubts don't actually influence anything!
this post was highly inspired by mobileblacksmith2535 by on reddit! i got the idea to write this from their post.
i totally understand all the worries a shifter might go through in their journey. one of the most commonly given tips in this community to shifters with doubts is "change your mindset". now, i'm not here to dictate whether that is helpful or not, after all, the key advice to one person can be completely useless to another. i will say, though, it's not that easy to simply change your mind. hell, i think forcing yourself to ignore normal human emotions might make you even more anxious.
first and foremost, i want you to have in mind that you are already in your desired reality. matter of fact, stop reading for a bit, look away from your screen, and visualize yourself there. if you're not good with that try looking at pictures of your s/o, friends, family, anything!!
done? good. you are already in your desired reality. your "drself" is YOU! YOU are already THERE. read that again.
and you know what? no one can take that away from you, not even yourself.
what i mean with that is: even with the doubts and questions that bother you daily, you are already there, so those feelings are completely irrelevant.
you see, all the pain, the worry, the anxiety, the anger, you name it — all of those are physical sensations that come with the 3d.
another very commonly given advice is "ignore the 3d". personally, i'd like to rephrase that to "don't mind the 3d". you are human with human emotions, stop blaming and forcing yourself to stop having them. don't force yourself to ignore something that is naturally within you, instead, have an "okay, whatever." attitude!
while doing it, forcing myself to not feel these things, i found it extremely draining. instead, i started simply not caring! do not care!!! why should you care, honestly? you're there anyways. even with 0% or 100% of faith in your desire, it's already yours. just let these feelings pass, they don't influence absolutely anything.
after all, this is the law of assumption, it's a law. it can't fail you.
i hope this post helped ease your minds a little bit! shifting journeys are full of doubts and frustrations, but it's so much easier when those feelings peacefully pass by us. byebye & go shift nowww !!
