Why should you install Anti-termite Reticulation System in your premises?
Installing an anti-termite reticulation system is a smart move to protect your property from termite damage. Here’s why you should consider this system for your premises:
1. Effective Termite Control
Prevention and Treatment: An anti-termite reticulation system provides a continuous barrier against termites. It can both, prevent new infestations and treat existing ones, which makes it a dual-purpose solution.
Chemical Distribution: The system uses a network of pipes installed underground to distribute termiticides evenly around your property. This ensures thorough coverage and effective protection. An example of installation network in Image 1 illustrates how the chemical can be distributed throughout the premises.
2. Long-Term Protection
Sustainable Solution: Once installed, the system offers long-term protection with minimal maintenance. The termiticides used in the system can last for several years, depending on the product and environmental conditions. Termipore is the only brand known to have undergone stringent lab tests that verify its longevity and tenacity. For more information on this, click: https://termipore246357195.wordpress.com/2023/01/19/termipore-the-only-reticulation-pipe-lab-tested-for/
3.Minimal Disruption
Non-Intrusive, Hassle-Free Termiticide Injection: This system is non-intrusive & hassle-free at many levels. Since you have the flexibility to install the junction box outside the house/office or at a convenient place on your property, injecting termiticide is totally hassle free, as can be seen in Image 2
Furthermore, this system is designed in a way that you can continue your day-to-day work even while the injection is on. There is no chemical on the floor inside your premises, hence no uncomfortable smell or mess anywhere. You, your family, elders, children, pets, office colleagues, every one can go about their work without any disturbance or break or any allergy issues.
4. Enhanced Property Value
Increased Resale Value: Having a reliable termite control system can be an attractive feature for potential buyers. It demonstrates that you have taken proactive measures to protect the property, which can enhance its market value.
Peace of Mind: Knowing that your property is protected from termites can provide peace of mind, reducing stress related to potential infestations.
5. Cost-Effective in the Long Run
Prevention Over Cure: Investing in an anti-termite reticulation system can be cost-effective in the long run by preventing the significant damage and expensive repairs that termites can cause.
Reduced Maintenance Costs: While there is an initial installation cost that in itself is not high, the system’s long-term effectiveness can mean much lower maintenance and treatment costs over time.
6. Environmental Considerations
Controlled Use of Chemicals: The reticulation system allows for controlled use of termiticides, which can be more environmentally friendly compared to broad-spectrum treatments.
Less Chemical Exposure: Since the system delivers termiticides underground, there is less chemical exposure to living spaces and gardens, reducing potential risks to humans and pets.
Conclusion
An anti-termite reticulation system offers a proactive, efficient, and long-term solution to termite control. It combines effective prevention with easy maintenance, making it a valuable investment for safeguarding your property from these destructive pests. How to Install TermiPore Anti-Termite Reticulation System & How to Inject Termiticides
Introduction:
TermiPore anti-termite piping system is now installed at thousands of sites across the country and abroad. Pest Control Operators around the country and world have shared their ideas and tips on how to install TermiPore as well as how to inject termiticide once installed. In this blog we take a look at 3 specific areas of this:
Tips on installing TermiPore in the soil at foundation level.
Tips when installing TermiPore on PCC and
How to flush any pipe that may get blocked due to suspended particles or contamination in the termiticide. This occurrence is very rare, but use of SC termiticide or keeping ends of the pipe open may cause large particles to enter the pipe and cause partial blockage. We will share the tips given by our customers on how to flush it.
Installing TermiPore in Soil at Foundation Level
Recommended TermiPore models to use when installing in the soil are TP125175 & TP125195. These have a relatively larger inner diameter and hence allow faster flow of termiticide.
Do plan the location of the junction boxes, so that access to them is easy once the building is made. Till the building is completed you will need to take the pipe outlets about 1 foot higher than the plinth height and leave them open at various places. These will then be inserted in the junction boxes once the walls are completed.
Always use plain pipes above the ground, and do not bring TermiPore Pipe above the ground. Also use an elbow to connect the two when bringing the plain pipe above the ground.
Do ensure coarse sand or pebbles under and above the pipe, for protecting the microholes from being blocked by sticky clay/cement.
The space available at foundation level maybe sufficient for the pipe to be turned at corners without using elbows, however wherever you need to make a grid, please use the Tee and the 4-way connectors.
It is recommended that TermiPore is installed just a couple of days before the soil is to be covered by rough stones etc. for flooring. This will ensure it is not disturbing other work at site.
You can use the black hooks to ensure that the pipe stays in place and does not get disturbed by the various agencies working on the site.
Once laid, we recommend that you inject termiticide or spray termiticide in the entire soil and over the pipe as soon as possible. If there is a long delay between installation of TermiPore and injecting termiticide, then the termites may attach to the TermiPore pipe and make it ineffective.
Ensure that small pebbles or sand is put properly to cover the TermiPore Pipe once it is laid.
Installing TermiPore Over PCC, Just Below Floor Tiles
Recommended TermiPore model to use when installing in the soil is TP095145 or TP125175 since these sizes is relatively smaller in outside diameter and hence will be easier to install where space is less under the tile.
Plan the junction box locations in consultation with architect or homeowner so as to reach all places with minimum disturbance at the time of injection.
As mentioned earlier, we once again recommended that you install TermiPore as close to the date of tiling as possible, so that the pipe layout does not disturb other work.
You can use the white nail hooks to keep the pipe in place so as not to be disturbed by the various agencies working at the site.
If there are columns at the site then install the pipe all around all the columns as well
Once laid, we recommend that you inject termiticide or spray termiticide on the pipe as soon as possible. If there is a long delay between installation of TermiPore and injecting termiticide, then the termites may attach to the TermiPore Pipe and make it ineffective.
Since termites come through various vertical points like electrical cables, micro holes in columns or dry sewage lines, so it is advisable to spray these also at the time of installing the pipe.
Ensure that the pipe is covered with sand before you leave the site and definitely before tiling commences
Removing blockage in the pipes
Despite all technical literature mentioning that do not use SC termiticide, use only EC termiticide with TermiPore, there maybe cases where SC termiticide is used and when this dries up, it may block a few holes. Even with this, there is usually not a problem with injection, since TermiPore has hundreds of holes per meter.
However, after a few injections if you find that the flow rate is drastically reduced and termiticide is not going as fast it should, then you can flush out the holes in a simple way.
Take a solvent like turpentine or highly diluted acid, like the bathroom acid diluted with as much water. And inject this in the pipe. Let it remain in place for 3-4 days. This will not affect the pipe quality or its durability, but will open up any holes blocked due to SC termiticde. You may find that this opens up the holes and then you can inject the EC based termiticide.

Navigating Termiticides: A Comparative Analysis of Imidacloprid, Fipronil, and Chlorpyrifos
We are very grateful to Envu India for their technical assistance and guidance in collating this information
Important: TermiPore manufactures anti termite reticulation system. It is not into manufacturing or selling of termiticides. All information given here is from discussions with PCOs and only for reference. Please refer to the technical details given by the manufacturer of termiticides for usage instructions and for more accurate and updated information.
Introduction:
Termites pose a significant threat to the structural integrity of buildings, making effective termite control a critical aspect of pest management.
An arsenal of termiticides are available. Imidacloprid, Fipronil, Chlorpyrifos are widely recognized for their efficacy in combating termite infestations. Earlier Lindane was also one of the chemicals used but it has been banned now in many countries including in India.
In this article, we will explore the pros and cons of each termiticide, with a focus on recommending Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC) or Suspension Concentrate (SC) formulations in conjunction with the Termipore anti-termite reticulation system for satisfactory termite control.
Imidacloprid:
Pros:
1. Cascading Effect: Imidacloprid works on termites through contact and ingestion, unexposed individuals of the termite colony also get affected due to this and there is a likelihood of colony elimination which , provides long-lasting protection against termites.
2. Low Toxicity to Mammals: Imidacloprid has low toxicity to mammals, making it relatively safe for human and animal exposure when used according to label instructions.
3. Non-Repellent: Termites cannot detect Imidacloprid, leading to improved efficacy as termites inadvertently come into contact with the chemical and spread this toxicant through food exchange and grooming behaviour.
Cons:
1. Slow Acting: Imidacloprid may exhibit slower kill times compared to other termiticides, requiring patience for visible results.
2. Resistance Potential: Prolonged use of Imidacloprid can lead to termites developing resistance, necessitating alternative control methods over time.
3. Suspension Concentrate hence if used with non-porous pipes / reticulation system there are chances that holes may get blocked over a long period and may need to be cleaned / washed using recommended methods.
Fipronil:
Pros:
1. Broad Spectrum Activity: Fipronil demonstrates broad-spectrum activity against various pests, including termites, making it versatile for integrated termite management.
2. Non-Repellent: Similar to Imidacloprid, Fipronil is non-repellent, ensuring that termites unknowingly come into contact with the treated area, leading to effective control.
3. Fast Action: Fipronil has a fast action compared to other termiticides, this enables stop-feeding effect and complete termite eradication.4. Long Residual Activity: Fipronil exhibits long-lasting residual activity in soil, providing extended protection against termite infestations.
Cons:
Fast absorption: EC formulations of fipronil have fast skin absorption potential and therefore it has to be restricted to soil applications only.
2. Cost: Fipronil-based products may be more expensive than alternatives, affecting the overall cost of termite treatment.
3. Environmental Persistence: Fipronil's persistence in the environment may raise concerns about its impact on non-target organisms and ecosystems.
Chlorpyrifos:
Pros:
1. Fast Acting: Chlorpyrifos exhibits rapid kill times upon contact with termites, providing quick results in termite control.
2. Low Cost: Chlorpyrifos-based formulations are often more affordable than other termiticides, making them accessible for widespread use.
3. Recommended in IS standard 8944
Cons:
1. High Toxicity: Chlorpyrifos is highly toxic to humans and animals, posing risks to human health and the environment.
2. Environmental Concerns: Chlorpyrifos has been associated with environmental contamination and adverse effects on non-target organisms, raising ecological concerns.
3. Barrier breaking: Places where chemical barrier has not been accomplished fully are liable for termite entry and infestation.
4. Resistance Development: Prolonged use of Chlorpyrifos can lead to termites developing resistance, diminishing its long-term efficacy.
A comparison is also provided in a tabular form:
Recommendation:
Each termiticide has its own set of advantages and disadvantages, along with specific dilution recommendations and dilution methods. However, when considering the overall efficacy, safety, and environmental impact, Emulsion Suspension (EC) formulations combined with the Termipore anti-termite reticulation system offer a comprehensive solution for termite control. This approach ensures uniform distribution, long-lasting residual activity, and proactive barrier protection against termite infestations, making it an ideal choice for homeowners and pest control professionals alike.
Important disclaimer: TermiPore manufactures anti termite reticulation system. It is not into manufacturing or selling of termiticides. All information given here is from discussions with PCOs and only for reference. We also recommend that it is used along with Soil Treatment at foundation level, to enable repeat treatment every few years, after construction. Visit www.termiore.com , for to know more.
Brand TermiPore is a comprehensive Reticulation System, that offers not just Pipes, but all the needed accessories along with sound technical support. Recently we had hosted a live session on How To Install TermiPore Above PCC , the recording is available at our YouTube handle: https://youtu.be/MmySc_cwAbA
Furthermore, along with showing how to install TermiPore over PCC, we also demonstrated the extra precautions to be taken before leaving the site after installation over PCC. This video is also available at : https://youtube.com/shorts/8_dJxFyxaxA?si=X6pQfoteiazsSWXR
There is a considerable time between installation over PCC and completion of interiors. Also, the site will be visited by many agencies with their tools and lots of materials, like wood, plywood, laminates, ladders for painting, maybe even sand etc for indoor plants, landscapes, gardens, packaging materials etc... There is a high likelihood of termite infestation through these materials. Also, the ducting for plumbing, wiring etc are also vulnerable to termite attacks. So to prevent any such infestation, instead of waiting for all interior work to finish before injecting, you can spray or inject on the exposed TermiPore Pipe and other open areas like bathroom plumbing and electrical boxes
This extra step has many benefits:
It protects the pipe from termites that may be present in the sand and other material
The house is reasonably protected till proper injection can be done after the house is ready
Protects the premises from termites that can come from open passages of wiring, plumbing, drainage etc
In the video you can see how termiticide is sprayed in all open holes/areas on the wall.
Brand TermiPore is committed to quality products, services and technical support. For any queries, feel free to contact us at: +91 6359292525 /8401017087 [email protected]

Why Is Brand TermiPore Considered
The Most Technically Reliable System For Anti-Termite Reticulation?
For a host of very valid reasons, major ones being:
TermiPore Pipes do not block even in cement.
TermiPore is the only reticulation pipe that has the distinction of successfully passing the lab-tests of: ESCR, RoHS & Accelerated Weathering
TermiPore can endure any type of frequently used pesticide without deteriorating, getting blocked or slackening flow rate.
Stringent mechanism for Quality Control
TermiPore Pipes do not block even in cement:
To answer the most frequently asked question by our clients about whether TermiPore gets blocked, we conducted an intensive experiment, and the experiment was repeated more than 50 times. We are happy to share that we got satisfactory results every single time.
Under this, cast various Termipore pipes of various sizes and different batches in cement. They were left in the cast for 20 days, by which time the cement had totally dried and hardened. After that, we injected water through the pipe trapped inside dried cement. Every time, we were delighted to see that the cement was totally wet in a very short time and water was freely oozing from all around and across the cast. You can see a video of this experiment at : https://youtu.be/tNT91s3WTTU and even the pictures below are evidence of our experiments:
We can confidently say that even cement does not block TermiPore. The credit goes to our culture of innovation & that helped us develop a special raw material of elastomeric compound. Also, our design ensures a consistent flow rate since we have incorporated more than 100 pressure operated microholes/mtr, all across and around every TermiPore pipe. However as precaution, please install reticulation pipes on a bed of sand and avoid contact with cement as far as possible. These experiments were conducted to assure our clients of TermiPore quality. For more details, visit: (insert link of installation)
TermiPore is the only reticulation pipe that has the distinction of successfully passing the lab-tests of: ESCR, RoHS & Accelerated Weather Test:
We believe in on-going research, development & testing to innovate, upgrade, enhance & preserve the high quality of our products. We even got 3rd party testing done, to assess the strength and durability of TermiPore Pipes. Our pipes underwent the following laboratory tests:
RoHS: TermiPore is not hazardous since it is compliant with standards of RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
ESCR: TermiPore has successfully cleared the test of Environmental Stress-Crack Resistance (ESCR). After being tested for 300 hrs, it was established that TermiPore pipes are very sturdy and will not degenerate even in harsh conditions.
Accelerated Weather Test: Even after exposure to 50 degrees centigrade, there was no cracking, puncture, rigidity or loss of flow rate in the pipes.
All these reports prove without doubt that TermiPore Pipes are sturdy, durable, long-lasting and reliable.
You can read more about this at: https://termipore.blogspot.com/2023/01/termipore-only-reticulation-pipe-lab.html
TermiPore can endure any type of frequently used pesticide without deteriorating, getting blocked or slackening flow rate.
One of our on-going experiments was to test the effect of IS Standard 6313 recommended chemicals Fipronil (emulsion concentrate) and Imidacloprid (suspension concentrate) on our reticulation pipes.
The experiment was done in for ways. We submerged 3 main sizes (14.5 mm, 17.5 mm and 19.5 mm) of our reticulation pipes in (a) Fipronil, (b) Imidacloprid, (c) water and one sample set was left drying in air. We compared the 4 sets after every few weeks.
For more details, click: https://youtu.be/pYia62Ok2Fo
We checked all the main parameters i.e.: blockage, flowrate, cracks, degradation, hardening, etc. We are happy to share the positive results the 2 sets of TermiPore Pipes submerged in chemicals performed the same as the other 2 sets in water and air. There was no deterioration, and the flow rate was consistent too.
Due to all the research and testing, we can confidently say that the performance & durability of TermiPore Pipes, will not get affected by termiticides.
Stringent mechanism for Quality Control
Furthermore, we also have a very good system to ensure quality control. We have a prescribed testing mechanism for 9 quality parameters for each roll, before despatch.
Due to all this and a lot more, we undeniably claim TermiPore is a Comprehensive Anti-Termite Reticulation System, not just any pipe
Install TermiPore Anti-termite Reticulation System and protect your property from termites and avoid any damage and loss on account of destruction due to termites.

What Are The Test Reports of Various Termiticides on TermiPore?
Pest Control Service Providers frequently ask us the effect of various termiticides on TermiPore pipes. Their major concern is the effect of types of termiticides on the durability and blocking of the pipe.
To answer these questions, TermiPore decided to conduct a thorough investigation and study into the effect of various termiticides on TermiPore, by conducting systematic experiments on different sizes of our pipes.
A typical injection of termiticide will be once in 3 years. So TermiPore will be in touch with these chemicals about 15 times during its service life.
To test their effect on TermiPore we decided to use the 2 chemicals that are recommended for termite treatment and are a part of IS Standard 6313 – Fipronil and Imidacloprid. This also ensured that we test the effect on two different types of concentrates, since Fipronil is an emulsion concentrate and Imidacloprid is a suspension concentrate. We tested all 3 main sizes of Termipore – 14.5 mm, 17.5 mm and 19.5 mm
For details on each size, click here: https://termipore246357195.wordpress.com/2023/03/15/will-the-reticulation-pipes-get-blocked-in-few-years-the-most-commonly-asked-question-for-preventive-anti-termite-reticulation/
To ensure that TermiPore pipes are in proper contact for sufficient time with these chemicals, we inserted the entire length of the pipes so that the pipe is totally submerged in these chemicals. As a control sample, we also had two more test samples – one inserted in water and one drying in air. That way we can compare the results of all 4 pipes every few weeks.
After every few weeks, the samples would be taken out and checked for flow rate, degradation, blockage, cracks, hardening, etc. After several weeks of being drenched in these chemicals we find that TermiPore continues to perform as expected without any cracking, degradation, reaction or blocking in either Fipronil or Imidacloprid and the flow rate and performance is similar to when these pipes were in water or air.
This proves that termiticides will not affect the durability and performance of TermiPore Anti-Termite Reticulation Pipes. That is why we say that TermiPore is not just any pipe, it is a Reticulation System, that provides comprehensive products and assurance based on on-going research, development, experiments and investigations.
At TermiPore, quality assurance is of utmost importance, and we don’t just claim, as explained here, we prove our claims with relevant tests and experiments.

Will cement block TermiPore Pipes, once construction is done over it?
The biggest doubt or point of concern in the minds of 1st time users of preventive Anti-termite Reticulation System is: Will the pipe get blocked once construction is done over it?
As far as Brand TermiPore is concerned, we are sure it does not get blocked. To prove this, we conducted an experiment more than 50 times, and each time we got more than satisfactory results.
So what was that experiment?
We cast various Termipore pipes of different batches in cement and let that cast dry for 20 days. Once the cement was totally dry and hard, we pumped water in the pipe. Soon, the entire cement cast was totally wet and water was oozing out of that cast, as can be seen in the pictures below:
You can view this experiment on our YouTube channel at the link below:
We got the above result, every single time. This proves that TermiPore does not block even in cement. This is due to our special raw material of elastomeric compound, developed inhouse, on the basis of intense research and development; and also due to the pipe design that has more than 100 pressure operated pressure pipes all across and around the pipe. These experiments were carried out to ease our clients of any worry of pipe blockage. However, we strongly advise that you install reticulation pipes on a bed of sand and cover it with sand, as a measure of added precaution.
To sum up, install TermiPore Reticulation System, without any worries of the underground pipes getting blocked. Prevent termites, save your precious property from loss and damage due to termites.

Confused about the size of pipes to be used for
Anti-Termite Reticulation?
Most modern-day property owners are now more conscious about the quality of construction and they ensure that all necessary precautions are taken so that their property is of high quality. This is not limited to the external appearance in terms of layout, furniture, lighting, paint color etc. They also want to ensure that all the concealed or invisible amenities are also of good quality, eg. proper waterproofing, systematic plumbing, proper drainage, strategic electricity points, preventive anti-termite reticulation, etc.
Anti-termite reticulation is fast becoming the norm in new constructions, as with fancy and expensive floorings, no one wants to drill holes on the floor for termite treatment post construction. However, the end-consumer is sometimes confused about the type and size of pipes to be used.
In its nascent stage, say before about 18-20 years, when this system was new to India, the material and design of the pipe used were not appropriate for the purpose. Irrigation pipes meant for above ground use were installed underground, or narrow pipes with thin walls were used for the purpose. Often, they used to drill holes in such pipes and use it for anti-termite reticulation. Furthermore, these holes were often at a distance of 1 feet, all in one direction. Hence blocking, bending, squeezing etc. were common side effects and there was a wrong perception that this system is not robust or good enough in the long run.
Anti-termite reticulation is a very effective system to prevent termites, however it is very important not to use any unreliable or inappropriate product. Ensure that you buy good quality pipes of a reliable brand.
With a presence of more than 15 years in this industry,
TermiPore is not just any pipe, it is an entire system
TermiPore is a leader in this segment, due to:
Consistent high quality of its pipes and accessories including classy junction boxes
Superior quality of its raw material developed after intensive research. It is specially made of a mix of thermoplastic elastomeric compounds suitable for long-lasting underground installation

7. A wide range of pipe sizes, with high wall thickness; to suit the requirement of all types of sites. Customization option is also available.
It is important to use the right size of pipe, depending on the stage of construction, weather condition and geographical factors of the region where the property is located. Every size offers long term durability & TermiPore offers 3 standard sizes of Reticulation Pipes:
12 mm Orange Line – Can be used during construction, after PCC, before flooring
16 mm Green Line – Suitable for all location, most widely used
19 mm Red Line – This higher thickness for more weight barring
19 mm Red Line – This higher thickness for more weight barring
Product code: TP095145 Product code: TP125175 Product code: TP125195
Product code TP095145
The small outer size makes it suitable for installation with all types of flooring, even where the space available between the cement and tile / marble is less.
The inside diameter is 9.5 mm or 3/8” inch and the wall thickness is 2.5 mm, giving it an outside dimension of 14.5 mm
It is also called 12 mm size because fittings used are of 12 mm size
The orange line marking distinguishes it from the other sizes
Product code TP1255175
Our most popular size is called as 16 mm size (because fittings used are 16 mm fittings)
The inside diameter is 12.5 mm or ½” inch and the wall thickness is 2.5 mm, giving it an outside dimension of 17.5 mm
The green line marking distinguishes it from the other sizes
Product code TP1255195
This is our premium product with higher wall thickness of 3.5 mm – that is 40% more than the standard thickness pipe
The higher thickness ensures more weight bearing capacity and also higher consistency of flow along the length of the pipe
The inside diameter is 12.5 mm or ½” inch and the wall thickness is 3.5 mm, giving it an outside dimension of 19.5 mm
This higher thickness and hence durability also makes it the recommended size for post construction installation in the soil around the building periphery
The red line marking distinguishes it from the other sizes

Why is Preventive Termite Reticulation System Globally The Most Preferred Method To Control Termites?
In most part of the world, housing and commercial construction is on the rise. During covid, there was a perception amongst many that the way of working has changed forever. Work from home will now be a preferred mode of work, and corporations may not need very large commercial offices as they did in pre-covid days. However, nothing of the sort happened. And the need for high-end commercial spaces is rising the same as before. Moreover, hospitality industry is growing rapidly, with state-of-the-art hotels, boutique hotels, home stays, restaurants, etc. Medical facilities are also increasing with better hospitals and facilities. Construction regulations in medical and hospitality industry are also getting more stringent, in terms of permissions and certifications for health and safety measures.
On the other hand, residential properties are also getting more state of the art along with prohibitive increase in the cost of construction and interior designing.
Given this, everyone realizes the dire need to make homes and offices that are long lasting and convenient to manage.
Threat from termites is something that will never disappear. Termites are super resilient; they reappear and reproduce quickly and in very large numbers too! These silent destroyers work their way into your property, and worst is they are visible only after they have chewed up your expensive construction into fine powder and you are left with huge losses, not to speak of the terrible inconvenience of setting things right!
With time, now thankfully, there are a few preventive techniques available and within those options, Reticulation Method is highly preferred due to a host of reasons:
-It is underground, so it poses no health hazard to humans or pets due to toxic fumes, etc. It is safe for all homes, with elders, children, and pets
-Injection of termiticides through junction boxes on the outer walls, is super easy and totally hassle-free and takes very little time
-Given that termites return, repeat treatment to prevent their return is also no problem at all
-Very convenient for commercial places such as hotels, hospitals, offices etc where they cannot afford to halt work even for a few hours
- It can be installed pre-construction at plinth/foundation level, during construction under the flooring and post-construction, around the periphery of your premises.
As per the website www.fortunebusinessinsights.com “The global pest control market size was $19.73 bn in 2019 and is projected to reach $31.94 bn by 2027, exhibiting a CAGR of 6.31% during the forecast period”
However, for optimum effectiveness of Preventive Anti-Termite Reticulation System, it is important that:
Good quality reticulation pipes and accessories are installed. Do not use any other pipes such as irrigation pipe, etc
The installation is done properly
Termiticides are injected at regular intervals.
This is where TermiPore Reticulation System comes in picture. TermiPore offers:

‘TermiPore5X5’ - The Latest Anti-Termite Reticulation Pipe – How is it different ? What are its benefits? How to install it?
TermiPore is not just a pipe but an entire anti-termite reticulation system. With its strong culture of Research and Development, TermiPore offers a very wide range of standard and customized options, along with all the necessary accessories, to suit your site and budget.
Termipore now introduces a new, premium “TermiPore 5 x 5”
Suitable for sites, where high consistency of flow is required, and junction boxes need to be very few. Like all TermiPore products, this too is a highly reliable and long-lasting product, with stringent quality control protocols.
TermiPore 5X5Reticulation Pipe is different from all other models. It is different in terms of its raw material, design as well as the process of production. It is a very smooth pipe made from a special polymer compound. The holes in this model are made during a secondary process. As a result, the holes are very precise and perfectly spaced andthe flow rate is very uniform.
There are 3 main benefits of using TermiPore 5 x 5:
1 - The smooth surface inside the pipe allows for much longer length installations, so a junction box is required at 50 mtr intervals rather than the 25 mtr interval in regular TermiPore
2 - The flow rate is much more uniform due to the secondary process of making holes
3 -Also, the material is such that the holes open-up more with increasing pressure from the pump so you can better control the flow rate of the termiticide
Crucialtechnical information, product application and unique featuresof Termipore™ Reticulation pipe - TP5x51014 are listed below:
-Inside Diameter 10 mm Outside Diameter 14 mm Tolerance +/- 0.5 mm.
- Designed flow per mtr per hour of water or liquid of Sp. gravity 1.0 at pressure 0.25 Kg/ cm2: 10 to 15 ltr
-Highly precise holes made through a special secondary process to ensure high uniformity of flow rate.
- More than 500 holes, of about 0.5mm; per meter length of pipe
- Holes are all around the circumference, ensuring proper flow rate across the length of the pipe
- Holes open more and more as pressure increases in the system. As a result, the flow can beincreased or decreased by changing the input pressure
- Due to the very smooth surface of this pipe, the pressure loss along length of the pipe is very less and hence a junction box can be placed every 50 meters as compared to every 25 meters for other pipes. This is an ideal product where junction boxes need to be very few
- All standard 12 mm fittings can be used with Termipore 5 x 5 www.termipore.com
- Raw material is made of blended compound of polymer and additives
- RoHS compliant material (RoHS Directive 2001/95/EC Amendment 2011/65/EU). Test Report available on request
-Time taken for natural degradation of the pipe (beyond use) after installation and not exposed to atmosphere 50 years
Usage instructions for better results:
· For best results, ensure all turns are made with a large turning radius. For sharp turns use elbow or other fittings. Ensure the pipe is not locked
· Install Termipore pipe at ground level or below flooring. Do not expose the pipe to open air or above the floor. Use PVC / PE pipe above the flooring, since the outlet pipes may become hard over a long period
· Do not pour cement directly over the pipe. Cover pipe with sand or paper if needed
· When using 0.5 HP pump – given an outlet / box every 50 meters or 150 feet. If you need to install it longer than this length, use higher capacity pump, or ensure that you pump in termiticide from both ends of the pipe.

Are Preventive Anti-Termite Reticulation Pipes made of special raw material? Is that material different from other irrigation or porous pipes?
These are very frequently asked questions!
All companies may or may not use special compound to manufacture reticulation pipes. For effective termite prevention, it is particularly important to use the right kind of pipes, specifically made for reticulation and not use any other irrigation or porous pipe.
Anti-termite pipes are installed underground. Once installed, you do not have the option of changing those pipes. It is very important to get it right the first time! Make sure to select anti-termite reticulation pipes that are made of weight-bearing material, do not compress or block over time, are very long lasting, have the right design that ensures a good flow-rate.
With many options available that may be marginally cheaper, one may get tempted to use cheaper options. We need to remember that this is a “ONE TIME” time installation for a property worth millions. If not correctly prevented, loss due to termites can run into very huge amounts, not to speak of the high inconvenience involved in replacing, restoring and renovating the rooms and furniture ruined by termites. Saving a little by buying something that may not be the most appropriate, might lead to losing a lot in the long run.
TermiPore offers very high-quality, ROHS compliant anti-termite reticulation pipes, made of specially developed elastomeric compound. TermiPore Reticulation Pipes are available in a wide range of standard and customized sizes. They offer not just the pipes, but an entire Reticulation System, with all the necessary accessories of excellent quality and they also provide training for installation.
It is noteworthy that Termipore has a culture of research and development, high quality control and good customer service. TermiPore Pipes are made of a specially formulated thermoplastic elastomeric compound that has a specific as well as assured flow rate. The flow rate is identified as optimum after years of trial and research. There are various ways in which reticulation pipes are installed and used, and that changes from place to place. Termipore pipe flow rate is designed so that even when the installation and use is a little different from that recommended, the termiticide will reach everywhere. Although Termipore pipe is designed and tested so that the flow rate is as uniform as possible, the material and process of making the pipe is such that there will be variations of +/- 20% in the flow rate along the length of the pipe, as well as between pipes. This is because the honeycomb structure is created during the curing process when the pipe is made, and the holes are drilled post-production.
The main properties that make Termipore Pipe a better reticulation pipe are:
Optimum flow rate designed for reticulation and termiticide injection
Every roll of Termipore is checked to ensure proper flow rate is available
High wall thickness to ensure higher weight bearing capacity
Consistent micro holes and flow of termiticide due to superior material and high thickness of pipe
Availability of support and distribution across the country through pest control service providers who use TermiPore pipes
Availability of multiple sizes and products depending on your building and stage of construction
Availability of all accessories from one manufacturer
Manufactured by a reputable and dependable company that is more than 50 years old and has ISO 9001:2015 Certification, TermiPore is in use since more than a decade. Our design and material compound hold the test of time and are the best suited in different weather and geographical conditions.
TermiPore Pipes of all sizes are made with the same durable material using the same extensive process. And the life once installed under the flooring is also the same. So all sizes will work and serve the purpose of reticulation. TermiPore Reticulation System also includes all the accessories needed for the same; thereby making it easy for our customers. Accessories needed are elbow, tees, jointers, barbed clamp or fixing hooks, end plug and junction boxes.
Install the best quality reticulation pipes, your precious property deserves the best protection against termites – the silent destroyers.
