Oh, to be laying my head in the lap of my 10 foot monster husband as he gently runs his fingers through my hair. Candles illuminating us with the gentle autumn breeze blowing the certain, his one hand leaned above me holding the novel that he tenderly reads out loud. Freshly brewed tea sits with cookies on the table beside me, and I can hear the content smile in his voice. I am loved endlessly, and eternally safe in his arms~

Crocman Boyfriend Jason

A commission for @ban23 and features characters they created. This story was so much fun to do and hit a lot of things I’ve been wanting to write! I hope you enjoy some of the winks and nods to other stories as well as this cute couple.

   It’s usually dark as I head home. I’ve gotten used to the late shifts, it’s quiet, and I don’t get the weird stares I usually do. Being a seven-foot-tall croc monster, you’d think people wouldn’t stare. But they do.

   I take the train in the evenings when I get off work, it’s easier than trying to find a ride because well…no one really wants to pick a guy like me up. Back when I had the morning shift, I used to try and avoid the more crowded areas. Being on the train in the morning made me feel extremely self-conscious about myself.

   I had grown up in a small rural town where mostly everyone was like my family and me. It wasn’t until my mom got a great job that we moved to the city when I was in high school. There were a lot less people like us in the community we moved in to. The suburban area where our house was made me feel like I was in some odd Twilight Zone kind of episode. So much blonde hair, so many bleached teeth.

   Anyways, I’ve learned to cope with things as much as possible. But there is one thing that is bothering me. The girl in the corner of the train.

   Over the past couple of weeks, she’s appeared there every time I’m on the train. She wears the same pastel purple hoodie and always has a cup of coffee between her thighs. She looks at her phone screen, illuminating her soft, rough face.

   Her eyes are dark brown and beautiful. Well, I mean, so someone so weird that is. I can’t make heads or tails of her. Her hair is usually tied back, but I notice that it’s dyed purple in some places. I don’t know who she is, where she gets on the train or even if she gets off it. For all I know I’m seeing some new ghost who has appeared on the train. Some poor soul who died getting her Starbucks fix.

Imagine a group of monsters talking about how cute they think humans are.

I can imagine some parts of the conversation going like this:

-Humans change colors when embarrassed, it´s adorable.-They are very curious, their hands are everywhere!-So squishy and soft, naturally armored monsters fall to this trait.

-(Tall monster) My human loves to ride my shoulders when we go out, they have such an amazing smile every time.-(Slime monster) When it´s hot we save on AC by cuddling… I still get embarrassed when they do PDA though.-(Aquatic monster) I offered a human I´m courting a black pearl and they just went and put it on a necklace! Do they know its part of a mating ritual? I tried to tell them but they looked at me with those cute eyes and I almost lost it!-(Elderich horror) The human that took me in when I came to this dimension loves to cuddle at night, their cuteness peaks when they try to hug all of me.

Vampire Bat Boyfriend

I’ve gotten a lot of requests for vampires and a few for a bat monster, so vampire bat is here!

  It’s dark when you get home, then again it always is. You use to think working the late shift would be easy and fun, it’s only you and your coworkers in the store. You didn’t consider that the walk home would be so terrifying. You’ve started keeping your box cutter with you in your bag as well as a can of pepper spray on your keychain. You would ask your coworkers for a ride home, but some of them are gone before you even lock the front door.

  That was before though. Now as you make your way home you hear the familiar flapping above you and as you stop to look up he lands before you. He kneels then stands, towering above you as he kneels down and kisses you.

  “Did you just wake up?” You ask as you wipe the crust from the corners of his eyes, having to stand on tip-toe to reach.
