This isn't a call to perfection. You are human. However you have been given choice. You can choose to be committed to your growth- no matter how long, gruelling or intimidating it may feel. No matter how many times you fall or struggle, the greatest strength is found in getting back up with the same or even greater resolve to keep going. It all has to do with the direction you are looking in, your mindset, attitude and to whom you are keeping your gaze on. Growth isn't always easy or pretty, but lady it is necessary. I hope you are all well! New blog post is up on the blog discussing living and working with integrity. **Snippet** Confession: There have been many many times that I have not worked with the mindset of working as unto the Lord. In fact most times I have forgotten this scripture! How many of you have been in this position? You know what I mean… “Borrowing” a few work supplies here and there, spending a little bit too long on the internet surfing, “borrowing” some ink to quickly print off some personal things at work – sprinting to the printer before anyone get to it to see the vouchers, bookings, receipts or whatever else you have printed, making quick personal calls on the work phone, looking totally bizarre as you turn 100 times behind you or to the side of you to check if people can actually see what you are doing on your computer, or the classic one- very quickly clicking off the page that you were on, or the document that was open when you see someone coming toward you, or you hear footsteps! ** Join in the discussion! His love covers the multitude of our sins and wrong doings. Such a faithful God. What do you have to say to Him this week? Write it down, pray over it, remain thankful and prayerful. I spoke to a lovely lady this weekend who purchased a journal and she was sharing what she wants to begin writing and talking to the Lord about.. the area of forgiveness. Beautiful. I cant wait to hear what is revealed to her, and her testimony. Be intentional about your growth. Sometimes we are afraid to lay hold of that which is bigger because… well it is bigger. The fact that it is bigger means that it will demand more from us. More time, more commitment, more study, more knowledge, more money, more patience, more prayer, more faith. When I get to this point I feel a sense of strange uncertainty. Can I do it? What if it fails? What if it is a total waste of time? When you put yourself out there to commit wholeheartedly to anything these feelings and thoughts will always appear because your territory and capacity is being stretched. It’s a wonderful thing, for without growth we do not have a story to tell. So tell your story, tell your dreams, tell your weaknesses and struggles, joys and failures because through it all Christ is the one who gets the glory, and another is given the encouragement to begin, or keep pressing on in their own journey. #plantaintree #theechoesofherheart #Ghana
