its very great to me that every single inkfish splatoon character has ugly baby pictures no exceptions. Its so awesome they made the babies look like that

trying to gather up common splatoon (lore-related) misconceptions, what i can think of so far is:

Octavio using literal mind control on his soldiers/Octoling eyewear being hypnotic

Salmonids being uncivilized (i think this misconception has largely been destroyed. thank god)

Pearl's growth being stunted from electrocution

Cap'n Cuttlefish being racist (localization only)

Inklings not having tongues

Frye being a vampire squid

"Splatfest law" being an actual thing (this is localization only)

Marine mammals/any mammals being alive other than the judds/grizz/fuzzy oozed cephalopods

Inklings dying in water being nothing but a game mechanic/not canon

Splatsville/Inkadia being in europe/anywhere that's not japan

The existence of Agents 5,6, and 7 (i think the only people who believe this at this point are children, people who don't have that deep of splatoon knowledge, or those who think nin10doland is a reliable source for anything with splatoon)
