i just had a silly idea ehe. marriage proposal but instead of a ring it's a crown

the person making the proposal must find the combination of gems that remind them of their significant other the most and arrange them in the desired pattern, trying to capture their loved one's essence. paying attention to every detail, making a lot of sketches until one is perfect and, ultimately, getting a designated blacksmith to do the job

probably only common among royal families, since that's who wears crowns :P but it could also be a gesture from a simple citizen who feels like their s/o is enough of a prince(ss) to receive one

about the cost.... yeah probably very expensive. but as i said it's probably a royal practice so that's not much of an issue

although i think a better concept would be to make it be a god thing.... gods and demigods wearing beautiful crowns made by their other half

or probably just a thing of a specific ship you have in mind. they're simply too special for a ring........

Thinking about underrisk lately.

Although it wasn't gonna be a ship AU, I always knew Card would eventually get involved in multiple ships, since he was also a character I actively developed through roleplay with fellow Undertale AU enjoyers. And it did happen! And it was one of the most awesome and beautiful romantic stories I've ever written. It had real permanency in my mind and my heart.

However, roleplay partners come and go. I feel like I haven't been able to revive the passion I feel for Card and Reaper as a couple. I developed every single bit of them from the bottom to the top. Everything about them is so fleshed out. But as I perfect every bit of their story, I come up with more and more tragic ideas to ruin it.

Losing interest in a ship you're passionate about can kill off so much of your motivation. Reaper x Card allowed me to expand my artistic skills to unimaginable extents. But I don't feel like I can continue. I feel like I have lost the spark.

They were genuinely a beautiful couple. Except things started to get muddy. My friends started getting bored of it, and so did I in consequence. I feel like the wonderful attention catering story I had originally written got watered down to a shameless self-ship with ugly art included.

Writing their relationship also drove me away from the main plot points of Underrisk and severely slowed down the process of development of @underrisk-au. I became too indulged in a silly fantasy and forgot that Card is so, so much more than his husband.

I don't feel like developing them anymore. I don't have a roleplay partner or creativity to fuel my need of drawing them together. So I don't really think I will consider making them canon again.

Reaper was a huge part of the story at the start, showing Card peace in his worst moments. But after watering their relationship down so much, I can only see them as an angsty, disgusting pair of morons. And that is sadly the truth.

I've sadly heard and created many angsty scenes that eventually poisoned the main ship as well. And that's something I deeply regret.

So I think this is my final goodbye to that ship lol.

I will most likely continue doodling them around. But I don't think they'll play a big role in the story together
