I really like her pose here, it's different. Finally drawn a pose where the gun is not being gripped. This was actually quite easy to draw and I honestly would have finish this earlier if I wasn't procrastinating. I do like her shoes even though her hair is too simple hehe. I'm really happy with how my drawings are growing ❤️ I really want to draw more and study more. I need to learn about rendering and the Fundamentals. I basically only use a Round brush in all my drawings. I want to draw more :)

I'm glad I'm able to finish her before the end of the week but honestly I could have finished her earlier (yesterday my niece, her friend and I attended a cosplay convention near our home. It was fun. Spent the entire time scavenging for stickers). I'm really glad I'm constantly drawing lately :)

I'm so happy that I've finished this just 4 or 5 days since my last post. I believe I have woke up early in the morning 1 or 2 times just to draw. I also believe that I draw everyday. I'll manage my time more wisely as there are many other activities I want to be my hobbies that as much as possible I do everyday. I can always start again :)

I finally finished drawing one. This was quite easy to draw but I didn't draw much when I'm doing so, so this took too much time. I like how her skirt ended up looking considering I wasn't really focusing on its details. I really need to start thinking about the importance and quickness of time. I need to stop procrastinating. I'm glad I completed this .

It's really amazing and weird how much easier I find drawing to be but I am being lazy about it which suck a lot. I need to improve more and draw more. I am currently loss in life ngl.

3rd illustration for this year. This took a really long time to finish because we went to the province last Thursday and just came back home early 4 AM today. She actually ended up really cute which is such an amazing feeling to have because I didn't put too much details on her - I think this is what I should do more often is to not focus too much into details. My plan is to complete the School Lunch Club and focus more on studies. I want to draw painterly like Sang Soo Jeong. I will take a break on my Cosplay social media thingy to focus more on arts and video editing. I am also applying jobs online. I want to do splash art illustrations like that of League of Legends but in my case focus more on Dota 2. Remember:

This is my 2nd illustration this new year and the reason it took 2 weeks to finish this is because I was also animating and editing a video I'm going to upload on youtube (please subscribe lol). I actually am really in love with how this turned out like I find her really cute and her pose proudly showing her pencil is just so cute. I'm still kinda struggling with the hair but not with the clothing folds as much. In fact drawing the clothing folds for this was so fun, triangle is the answer. I also find that the sketching part was a little bit easier for me even though I didn't draw continuously which is surprising because I actually felt I improve a bit even when I didn't draw.

I'm not quite sure if I can still finish a fully rendered illustration every week because I am also trying to do video editing and animation besides my day job. I am also trying to do a lot of things to improve my life this new year like a new year's resolution. I want to manage my emotions more which is actually going great because in the first few days of this new year I learned about Taoism. I saw a book called the Tao of Pooh but did not buy it which is a shame really, I should have plus I also have continued my exercise routine which makes me feel so good, I can't even explain. I also need to fix my sleep schedule because I've been staying way too late either drawing, animating or editing. Also need to lessen my phone use and mindless scrolling online. I want to improve on my art more. I also am planning on posting a quick art of pastries, foods or flowers with girls on a daily basis apart from my weekly posts.

This is my first art this year and I'm so happy with how it turned out. I was supposed to complete it yesterday but a lot of things happened. This is actually quite easy to draw I don't know why maybe because of the reference but I too am surprised that I managed to pull this off. I wrote last time that I will practice drawing since it was basically the holidays and I was free but I barely practice. I did draw a simple portrait and shared it to facebook groups I'm in and to my surprise it garnered some attention more than my Blue Archive illustrations. Someone even claimed that I use AI but no I did not lol. Anyways, I believe I started drawing this on the 2nd of January and I continued doing so. I think I draw this for 9 hours or less. I also want to add that I started creating simple animations during the holidays and I created a youtube account and started posting some of my works there - it was a poem To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time by Robert Herrick (Please subscribe lol). Also because of my youtube, I don't think I'll be able to post my illustrations on a weekly basis but I will try :).

Hopefully this new year will be full of happiness and growth. I really want to be good at drawing and be faster doing so. I'll practice more drawings! I really want this year to be different. I'm better now but I need to improve still , not just with my drawing skills but with life in general.

This took way too long than expected. There were days were I was drawing very little because of laziness (ᴗ_ ᴗ。) and there were days were I did a lot of things particularly for my work (Christmas parties) and I also didn't allocate time for my morning drawing, I slept. Anyways, I really liked how this ended up despite the obstacles I faced. I struggled with her pose a lot because I find it quite awkward especially with her legs and fuck it I just noticed that I hid the layer that has her shoe lace holes and that I already posted the photo all throughout my social media sites. Fuck. Anyways I'll be more vigilant next time. I'll take this as a learning lesson because it is! I also struggled with her eyes. I noticed that most of the time I actually struggle about it quite a lot. She has so many details in her official art that I tried to incorporate on my version of her that made me take a lot of time but honestly I'm just glad that it turned out really good in my opinion. I still need to study fundamentals and rendering. I'm planning on spending the remaining days of this year focusing on learning more about the fundamentals (Anatomy, Figure and Gesture drawing and rendering particularly hair and clothing folds. I also need to study the eyes and hands) I'm not sure if I'll be posting my studies or keep it private. I'm planning a lot of things actually, things that I don't want to disclose yet hehe. I'm just really glad that I finished a new illustrations and so far I have finished 9 Blue Archive characters. This rewarding feeling for me is intrinsic. Yes I won't lie that I feel good if someone liked, retweeted, commented on or shared my art like anyone does but it's the fact that I started drawing, finished it and posted it online that amazes me. The act of drawing is what makes me feel happy and starting a new illustration is quite exciting now that I think about it, it's hard of course and I still struggle but it's rewarding, you know? Actually what I'm looking forward after every illustrations is journaling about it here in tumblr :D Writing has always been my biggest passion and it shows with how much I just word vomit here every time I'm going to post and illustration. I'll do something that involves in writing soon :D For the meantime I'll hone my drawing skills first through studies and practice ૮₍ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ₎ა

Kinugawa Kasumi

I really enjoyed drawing this! Although I struggled a bit with her pose because I keep unintentionally copying the official art pose. I love her raised arm showing her gun. I also like that I blended her coat and her skin. I really love how her legs look even though it was just a quick blend, the coat though looks kinda messy so I still need more practice but I'm glad I'm blending now. I really want to learn how to blend fabric folds and hair. Speaking of hair, hers is really simple and I just copied the official art. I need to strand away from kinda copying the official art too much especially with the pose too. Overall I really like this piece and I recall I draw everyday to finish this which is the goal (∩˃o˂∩)♡. I spent my 1 week pto drawing this and I must say I did great. I really want to continue doing this and I truly want to be good too. I want to do it right this time and continue with drawing and honing my craft. I want to be able to overcome my anxiety of posting (which btw hopefully no one finds me out in irl) and I want to explore art more and create more.

I really love journaling about the pieces of artworks I've created regardless if it doesn't connect with the art anymore. I'm just basically vomit typing right now but in doing so makes me feel at ease and makes me feel that drawing and posting it online is intrinsically rewarding for me.

I also want to add that I've basically been watching or listening to Marc Brunet's videos on youtube while doing this. My last Blue Archive post was on November 25 so this took exactly a week to finish - It was justifiably longer because I believe that I rendered it better this time (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)

This week was quite emotional for me. Tomorrow I'm looking forward to going somewhere.

Ogata Kanna is the only member of the Public Security Bureau or Public Peace Bureau in Valkyrie Police Academy.

This was actually surprisingly simple and easy to draw. I did not focused much on her hair but I did quite change her face angle/shape a lot based on my reference. I really enjoyed drawing this and even though I felt quite fast in doing so I'm quite shocked to know that I'll be posting this a week after I posted my last. I also spent Sunday with a friend and I had quite the anxiety with myself just being insecure for the past few days but as of the moment I'm feeling quite good now. I'm really starting to get the hang of it ahhhhhhhhhh :D I really like how her face ended up but I need to study more. I like the simple clothing folds (again, I need to study more) I really like the things I added like the mug and the writing clip board which are both included in her official art. I don't really like her hand gun much. I started drawing Blue Archive characters because of their weapons/ guns and I believe the bigger the weapon the better that's why I draw Alice first because I love her massive weapon :).

Even though I don't really play Blue Archive (or any games for that matter) I fell in love with the art especially the weapons plus I believe it is a great motivation to keep me going. I have been drawing quite a lot since I started posting and even though there were days when I didn't draw I find it to be easier to continue drawing because there are so many Blue Archive characters that I could draw from and that's the most important thing is for me to simply build the habit of drawing (daily if I can) and ultimately be good at it. Plus I really love drawing girls ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

The reward of drawing for me is intrinsic and it helps me lower my anxiety of putting myself (my art) out there one post at a time (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)
