Liberalism hasn't just failed to address important issues! That's an unfair absolution of liberals and their party. Liberalism has actively opposed and successfully thwarted progress in any important way, for decades, if not since inception as an american ethos.

As has been pointed out by theorists for a century, and as has been pointedly demonstrated in the last decade, liberals befriend fascists and oppress the people. Any nonsense to the contrary must be viewed as deliberate mental sabotage.
