I love this. This is, by far, one of my favorite verses. Like, it's just so amazing. Because Jesus, God's only son, our savior, took it upon himself to wash all his disciples' feet, something only the lowest of slaves or servants did.

Scripture says, though, to be great, you have to be a servant. So we have to ask ourselves what it takes to really be a servant.

You have to help without asking. Reach out to someone you don't know, help a struggling peer with school work if you're still getting an education. Offer to throw someone's trash away.

Clean without being asked to, maybe even slip a few dollars into a stranger's bag.

Just do something that you feel like would make someone feel good. Be that light, just like Jesus was for you. And you will be great.
