The last Unicorn reminds me of how it feels to mature into womanhood when you lose your purity, youth, and self love. Everything becomes hard. Everything pressures you. You can be betrayed by those you thought you could trust. I have always related to the movie because of this. I have felt scared of myself lately and of the world. Why does the world have so much hate? Why must I grow so fast? Can't I go back to when I was pure and innocent. When I didn't have to worry about my makeup, or if boys cared for me. I don't even really like boys, why do I care what they think? I want to go back to when I could just read and play with my toys... I can genuinely feel my body dying around me everyday.

The hand prints in the image represent everywhere a man has touched/tried to touch me (without permission) because they feel entitled to my body. Why do they feel entitled to something they don't own?
