my funniest headcanon i have for buck is that he absolutely had stumbled upon gay porn a handful of times way before tommy came along and he absolutely watched it and he absolutely got off from it and just shrugged it off and assumed it was the horny speaking and “it happens to everyone” and he’s just lived his life thinking everyone has done this and he totally was still straight even after watching ‘twink gets his ass absolutely obliterated by massive tatted daddy’ on the hub. anyway thank you for coming to my tedtalk.

Buck and Tommy are driving home from a date when they see a car that matches the description of a getaway car. Tommy urges Buck to call Athena.

Buck: Athena! I think I saw that car you were looking for.

It's established that Eddie doesn't have much of a gaydar, example Tommy. If Eddie's does (briefly) move back to El Paso, I'd want him to make another (unknowingly gay) friend and put him in Buck's place. They hang with Christopher, movie nights, etc.

Then one time, the guy goes in to kiss Eddie, startling him as he explains he isn't gay. The guy questions their activities together. Eddie answers "me and my best friend buck did all these things together!" leading the guy to counter: "so you and Buck were dating?"

“Stop,” Buck slurs, pushing at the hands that prod at his hurt. Why are they touching him? Don’t they know it hurts all over? “Stop, hurts. Please-” “Shh,” Tommy whispers, cupping his face. There’s water falling into his face, why is there water? “Shh baby, you gotta let Eddie work, okay? You just focus on me and stay awake. I love you, sweetheart, god, I love you so much.” Buck whines. He doesn’t want to stay awake. He’s tired. He’s out now, he doesn’t know why he can’t rest.  “Hey. Hey!” Tommy hits his cheek lightly, and Buck has to force his eyes open to look at him. He doesn’t even remember closing his eyes, and he wishes that Tommy had just let him rest, the panicked look on Tommy’s face makes Buck’s stomach turn. He hopes he never has to see it again. “Gotta stay awake for me, baby, please.” “Tired,” Buck grumbles.  “I know,” Tommy soothes, his thumb rubbing soothingly at his temple. “I know, sweetheart. You’re worn out, aren’t you? But I need you to hold on a little longer, okay? Hang on a little bit longer. For me. Can you do that?” He nods, but he’s not sure he can do that. Tommy seems to sense that because he takes a quick look at Eddie, he apologizes to the man as he works on Buck and turns back to him.  “You can do that, can’t you, sweetheart? Because you’re my good boy. You’re so good for Daddy.” “I’m not. I’m not,” Buck slurs out. “‘M not 'cause you left. Left me. Left-“ “I know, I know I left, sweet boy, I know, I’m sorry, but it wasn’t because of you. It wasn’t, I promise. I need you to hold on for me, please baby.”

Alternate first meeting where the 118 responds to a LAFD helicopter crash and it’s bad. The pilot is most likely not going to make it, and Hen, Chim & Bobby all know him. He’s the guy Buck replaced.

Tommy Kinard, pinned, bleeding too quickly and heavily concussed- still knows how bad his situation is. He’s written himself off. He’s going to die. He asks about the safety of his passengers and apologises for the inconvenience of the crash. Maybe he’s a little loopy from blood loss.

He looks up at the firefighter working to free him from the twisted metal and says something like “Wow, you’re gorgeous. I’d love to take you on a date if I wasn’t about to die”

This startles a laugh out of Buck, who finally manages to get him free and hooks his pinkie around Tommy’s and squeezes tight, promising if Tommy pulls through they’ll go on the best damn date ever.

Of course Tommy has a miraculous recovery and he has no real intention of holding his rescuer to the promise- but Evan Buckley (who has always considered himself straight) is taking this one hundred percent seriously. Its a sign and he is not messing with the magic of the pinkie-swear and yeah maybe the guy is really hot and makes his tummy a bit swoopy but thats normal right

Where will Buddie go on their first date?

Ooooh let’s see.. it would be tricky because they’ve known each other so long and typical date stuff might feel weird. They book a table anyway at a nice restaurant but…

I think Eddie would turn up at Buck’s loft with a bag of groceries for spaghetti the day before they’ve booked the table for and say they’re getting a practice first date in tonight by cooking dinner together he sets up a table all Lady and the Tramp style which Buck wouldn’t recognise which would lead to teasing and Eddie demonstrating the key pasta kiss scene and dinner would get forgotten

I saw a post about Eddie having bigger hands than Buck. So, yeah, it works well. Buck can’t get over how small he looks when Eddie’s hand covers him. He practically comes from that alone. His size kink goes both ways.

HC that Eddie has a bigger dick than Buck. Everyone thinks Buck does, cause firehose, but that’s actually because he comes a lot. It’s a great surprise for Buck who has a size kink.

somehow the 118 start talking about who has the biggest hands (something on a call or what have you) so they start comparing and buck is all cocky up until he puts his hand up to eddies palm to palm and he starts getting squirmy and weird because wow he did not realize eddie's hands were so big

Howie raises his eyebrow, “repeat, but louder and not with your hand and teeth blocking the sounds.”

Sighting, he takes the hand from his face, closing his eyes he repeats louder, “I’m in a time loop.”

The silence around them gives Tommy a headache. He opens to see Howie with wide open eyes and spoon freezed near his face full of really appealing chocolate cake.
