sorry, I know this is a random thing to ask, but a million years ago you posted a tdph spoiler comic about the sam and max who died meeting up in some other dimension. I remember on twitter there was a final sketch with them as kids and sam saying something like “let’s play something else now.” I don’t think you ever posted that final sketch on tumblr, but I really liked the effect it lent the comic; is there any chance of you adding that to the tumblr post at some point for one random anon’s sake?

How does max keep the kids away from his parents, the two of them making stinky miserable as kids in 1980 implies that they've been living in the same neighborhood their whole lives.

My headcanon (and in regards to AU) is that max avoids his parents very well bc Max intensely ghosts them, even though they are in the general area. They probably don’t even know the babies exist (Ruth almost didn’t know and Ruth is beloved! lol)

I think Sam and Max’s families are neighbors in some backroad neighborhood near Straight & Narrow, but not close enough that family wanders up. I think as kids, they biked or walked a bit far to play games in Stinky’s

This AU is TTG post-305 specifically, and s2 shows that they stay on Straight & Narrow until they’re grey and retired.

Sam & Max do their own thing and unless it’s their friends on their street, they don’t rly share much.
