i'm not sure the "shinigami eyes was originally intended to point out transmisogyny specifically, it just so happens most transmisogynists are also transphobes" thing is even historically true (though i would love a source to prove me wrong.)

i do think the inverse is true though. i think if you're a raging transmisogynist even in spite of being pro-trans in other areas, your nominal pro-trans-ness is hollow enough and your transmisogyny damning enough that you deserve to be marked as a transphobe
