side note I think an underrated part of gerard way the performer is just how much you can feel him trying to communicate his current ear’s persona through photoshoots. the amount of strategic doe-eyed chin tilting and cartoon character posing that happened during the danger days era VS the wide-shouldered dramatic frowning and military poses of black parade era is like ok…we get it…you’re in character and the cameras are ON
