Jakes Update 12/2/19 1st 
I created a little intro screen that gives a bit of lore, the text can be changed if we wanted to add more or less, probably gonna add a skip button. I also worked on scene transitions from main menu to index etc.

FINAL STRETCH!!!
Just plugged in the newest Character in Cyber/Cross: the Anarchist! 
A feisty fighter with napalm molotovs and gunboots to, well, boot! have been working on making sure that her animations are ON POINT
Now, just working on some final fixes to the card and fighting system, as well as some UI fixes as well. We’ll see you all at the finish line!

Hey again. Got here is anarchist fully textured. I actually feel real good about this texture and believe it is my best yet. Also made some modular pieces for the existing levels to fill in the world. Still behind but we are towards the end aren’t we.

Dominick’s Update: December 2nd, 2019 (FINAL)
Last minute bug fixes and general optimization for the game, as well now finally included the index section that gives a run down of each characters back story to add context to the world the game is set in. (If there is time I can find before Wed, I’d try to find a way to add example of moves each character can do.)

This week I completed the code and setup for the future character select screen. I also spent a couple hours looking for asset packs and 3d models off the internet so we can fill the 2nd stage with it. I will post a video of the completed revamped character select next update.

Cyber/Cross - Justin’s Update 11/18 - 11/25
The BETA update
Hi ya’ll! it’s BETA time. Here’s some of the stuff that I worked on for this week’s beta playtest.
Card Mechanics Update

For this update, players have asked for more options to do during combat. So the fix for that? MOAR CARDS. Increased the card hand from 2 to 4 now, and switched the button setup for the cards back to the face buttons. Swapped the Push button and the Dodge button to the Shoulder Buttons and triggers. 
Minor UI Improvements

Made the UI graphically more detailed and thematic using the Road Rage and Electric Highway fonts, implementing Dom’s holographic materials, and adding a new fire effect to cards. This fire effect on cards is used to notify the player when they are able to be activated.

I’m working on implementing the next character for the game, The Anarchist, but you’ll have to hear more from her next time.

Dominick’s Update 11/25/19:
Just mostly did bug fixes based on alpha feedback and continued testing of game. Aesthetics and shaders wise, the electric floor shader has now been modified and is now much more apparent when it activates. Timing on it is still being tested as that was a mentioned critique. All remaining shaders and visual effects will be finalized by the end of this week.

And finally I added some logos to the images for the stage select screen, I also want to animate them to be glitching a bit but for right now they are static. By next update they will be animated and cleaned up.

Dominick’s Update: 11/18/19 (Part 4)
For the menu, I made it a bit more fancier and included different effects, such as the background glitching out, the logo occasionally glitching out and the rotating hologram of one of the players. Right now I’m trying to make it where the hologram builds a new character every few seconds, like it blinks for a bit then a new character forms. Still a work in progress!

For more UI elements, I created a fire effect in photoshop, and animated it in Unity to indicate when the cards are ready for use. They disappear when a card is used, and reappear when the card is ready.

Dominick’s Update: 11/18/19 (Part 1)
As development continues, so does the game’s aesthetics as well. Here I created a fog shader that’s based off the shield I made earlier from a tutorial. modifying it so that the shader’s alpha mask encircles around the background buildings. Also giving it depth to look like it doesn’t consume the entire building!

Jake’s Update 11/18/19
This week I made an illustration for the controls and cleaned up the controls menu. I also started to work on a script to get it so that two players can pick their players at the same time rather then getting it so that player pick after each other. I have it two the point that there are two event systems and the event systems control two different selectors for buttons, but I still need to figure out how to get it so two separate controllers control the two separate selectors. To figure that out I need to delve into the unity user input action asset

For this week I implemented the UI Art for the health, round count and timer. I also added the particles into the game, I’ll begin working on more particles for the game to make it look pretty and fix some of the existing particles.
