i'm so happy to find this blog. my family has a tradition: every year for my moms birthday my siblings and i compete to see who can find the absolute weirdest birthday present for her at a local flea & antique market (three floors of weird, weird junk). i will have to submit last year's winner. we call him the hungry screamer.

Team Erotemes want you! We have five spots open our team for GISHWHES 2013. We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic humans to make and do awesome things with us! We are also willing to merge with a smaller team, if anybody is interested. 

We are looking for some extremely committed folks - we have already taken time off of work and are setting money aside for the hunt.  (But we also want it to be a great experience for everyone involved. (It is a very beautiful and transformative thing.))

If you are a GISHWHES Veteran, please include a couple of examples of past items.

If you don’t have anything to include, you will still be considered. 

3) What makes you awesome?

Let us know what you think you can bring to the team. Do you have any special skills or hobbies? Are you really good at being enthusiastic and helping to motivate your teammates? Do you have any community ties or special resources that others may not?

Where do you live? We would like to have a far-reaching team all around the globe.
