Sofi’s Pizza Toast and Magic Chocolate Milk
For her project in Science and Math, she prepared food and drinks for the family. She identified whether the pizza and healthy chocolate drink is heterogeneous or homogeneous. Sofia also got to measure using measuring cups and measuring spoons. Next, she will solve for the total expenses and change for the food and drinks that she prepared. With a budget of P1,000, we ordered thru Grab Pabili and GrabMart. Because she had fun the whole time, I guess we will have more cooking sessions for this girl!

SOFIA’S JOURNAL WRITING
Today, I learned about the Importance of Philippine geography. It was easy for me to learn about the natural hazards. I found it difficult to learn because it was hard to understand the words. To better understand the part or topic I am learning, it helps that I highlight the important words. Furthermore, while studying the lesson for today, I feel challenged. It is because I had a mission to do which is to read the book and find the answer in the book by myself. Overall, I think I can improve my knowledge about the lesson by watching videos, researching in google and finding the words in the dictionary. Next time, I hope to learn about the Philippine revolution.

Sofia’s Feelings
Today, I learned about the Philippine territory according to the Philippine Constitution. This is the second time I studied about this. I had to study it again because I had a hard time learning it last time. This time, I still feel worried because in my mind, I imagined many stuff. I know it will be confusing if I will do TRUE and FALSE worksheets, and the journal writing. The truth is , I am having a hard time putting things together in my brain. I had to remember lots of things in the past and present. I just continued to work hard, dream big, never give up. That was what my heart was saying to my brain. I figured out that the choices in each question were very helpful to me. I was even able to look for the answers that I need from my book. Also, in writing this, mommy helped me because I am having a hard time expressing my feelings. I learned from mommy to express my feelings more and not to keep them in my mind. I hope I can learn more how to open my mind and my heart better.

Silly Suspensions and Crazy Colloids
Today, I learned about suspension and colloid. Some parts of the lesson were hard, and others were easy. I felt happy still because my brain is challenged to work harder. To help me, I just look at the poster in my study area. It says “Work Hard, Dream Big, Never Give Up”, and I plan to do just that. While reading my notes and watching online videos about the lesson, I feel like I learned a lot about many things today. However, I had a hard time answering this question: “If you add salt in water, the salt sinks to the bottom. Is this suspension? Explain.” It was hard to find the answer in my notes. That’s why I decided to search it on Google. I was worried Mommy will not let me do it, but it turns out it was okay. My Mama also helped me today. She told me the correct way to write my answers, and I copied it on my paper. Next time, I hope to study the human body systems already because I know a lot about many of our organs.

Sofia On Territories, Agreements, and Laws
Today, I learned about the Philippine Territory According to International Laws and Agreements. It is my first time to use my “One Country, One People “ text book, and it was exciting. However, it was also hard to use because there were just too many words to read and understand. I only felt happy when I got to remember a lot from our lessons with Mommy before. My memory of the book’s pages helped me find the answers in the book. Some questions in the worksheets were also hard to understand. Good thing Mommy helped me with the map and directions. It’s just hard to remember parts about the Constitution. I hope I will know more about this next time.

First Day of [home]schooling
August 3, 2020
Today, I learned about heterogeneous and homogeneous mixtures.I felt excited about heterogeneous and homogeneous mixtures because it is my first time to use a textbook from my new school.I highlighted the important words in the pages that I needed to read and answer. it was somewhat easy, and somewhat hard.it was easy because the book pictures, and easy to understand words it helped me answer most of the questions in my worksheets correctly, however it was hard when new difficult words were introduced, especially homogeneous mixtures.I also felt nervous that my heart was beating super faster when I saw the solving part.it looks like for high school. good thing, mommy can help! she helped me check my answers and answer some of them again correctly! For example, if i have a “why” question, my sentence should have “because”. Mommy also helped me in writing my first study journal. she helped get started so next time i can do it too. next time, I hope i will study about the planets of the solar system. because i want to study about Saturn also known as the “cold planet”.

Traits of a model businessman
these are the traits that made Milton Hershey a model businessman. To begin with, Milton is a very optimistic person because he looks at the brighter things in life. This is because he never gave up, and tried to make his company successful after 4 tries within ten years. Also, Milton is humane and kindhearted to is employees. He rather have forty men working for him than a machine. With this, he gained community support and help from an employee when his parents disowned him. A PREDICTION: I KNOW WHY THE CAGED BIRDS SING by Maya Angelou
Probably, Marguerite will feel more discriminated hence, she will speak up. To begin with, she already expressed her odd feelings towards the white man. Also, she showed the need to let others know that something was not going right. Lastly, she felt awkward already about the use of comparison for white and black people.
