not to be a broken record but i really wanna know why it was necessary for harry’s exit to be so brutal and so thoroughly devoid of any closure to the point that there is literally nothing we as viewers can take comfort in. he thought james didn’t love him anymore, he never got a chance to prove his innocence, he was scared and confused and in pain and all he wanted was his dad who only hours before had bodily pushed him away when he tried to hug him goodbye. he died alone on the ground like he was nothing, thinking he was nothing and the fact that his body is still out there somewhere is making me nauseous.

Soaps aren’t generally my thing so I’m not exactly familiar with their conventions but I would assume that a death where there’s some confusion over the body and what happens to it leaves more scope for a potential resuscitation than a death where the body is found and dealt with quickly, such as Lily’s.
While I think unfortunately it doesn’t look like Harry’s death was of a dubious nature I think HO would want to bring him back at some point with him being a) Tony’s son and b) popular. And I think if they were set in this decision they wouldn’t think too hard about the logistics of the thing.

what’s bothering me the most is that harry’s had such a shit time of it - he’s been exploited by older men literally since he was 17, was forced into prostitution when everyone in his life turned their backs on him, pimped out by the man who supposedly loved him, disowned by his father too many times to count, saddled with a baby in a move that was both homophobic and badly thought out, was repeatedly drugged and subsequently rejected by the man he loves and after all that he died alone crying out for his dad. it feels like such a gratuitously harsh ending for a character whose life had barely gotten started.
