Seeing the post about how Karppi's trust in Nurmi developed with time made me think of the evolution of Nurmi’s trust. He went from "According to the third section of the law number 12 in police handbook, we shouldn't be further than 150 cm from each other at any given time. Under extreme circumstances up to 175 cm is allowed." in season 1 to "There is an unhinged guy with a gun on loose. You have no vest and no back up and we have no way of finding you if something goes wrong. Go ahead. You will be fine." in season 3.😄

Sofia Karppi and Tapio Koskimaki (part 1)

They had one of the most beautiful and relationships in the show. The way I see it, they were more than a mentor and student. Koskimaki was the closest thing Sofia had to a father. She didn't listen to him and annoyed him but he still loved her and was secretly proud of her.

Besides, Koskimaki was essentially the one who brought Karppi and Nurmi together. 😄
