Wriothesley was convicted to the Fortress at 15. He was in the Fortress as a prisoner for 7 years before being offered the position of Warden by Neuvillette.

Soon after he and Neuvillette began regular correspondence via letters and a year or two later regular meetings in person.

Early on in his first year, Wriothesley also took on Sigewinne, quickly taking her under his wing, becoming like a father.

Now, years later he is the extremely well respected Warden of the Fortress and Sigewinne the much-adored Head Nurse.

Wriothesley has also been hopelessly in love with Neuvillette since soon after becoming Warden and regularly beings Neuvillette tea, to the point where Neuvillette now has a cart for the blend Wriothesley gives him.

⋅⋆⫘⫘⫘⋆⋅┊Wriothesley found Sigewinne’s cat, Bergamot, in the fortress and later on gave Sigewinne the name idea.

⋅⋆⫘⫘⫘⋆⋅┊Sigewinne has a habit of overworking herself, which makes Wriothesley force her to take more than a two day vacation every month to see Neuvillette and the other Meusines. He also, along with making it closer to a week, doesn’t let her take any of her nursing books with her so she doesn’t continue overworking herself not under his watch. Although he does all of this out of deep love for the Melusine.

⋆⫘⫘⫘⋆⋅┊Wriothesley has a habit of going to where the ship was being built under the ocean, which is now filled with water again, and just watching. It calms him, feeling like he’s being kept steady by the pressure, and the endless blue where he can’t see the rock on the other side.

⋆⫘⫘⫘⋆⋅┊Wriothesley is very close to discovering Neuvillette is the sovereign just by teasing and puzzling it out, but he never quite does.

Hiatus Notice

I have an update for all of my role-play/ask blogs—linked below.

As you may have noticed I have had “selective Hiatus” as my status on those blogs for quite awhile, and you may also notice I have now changed it to simply “Hiatus.” The reasoning for this is as the holidays approach I am getting busy, and, quite frankly a little stressed from how busy I am going to be during December and likely after.

I have therefore decided to take a step back from role-playing for the time being, for my own mental health.

Please note, however, this is temporary, and will change. I will be back, I just don’t know when.

So, with that in mind…Mutuals, friends, Anons, fellow rpers and everyone else, I wish you a happy holiday season, and I’ll be back before you know it.

*It was a nice day in the Fortress. Everything seemed to be going smoothly and nobody was complaining today. Plus, it was your adoptive son, Bailey’s 7th official match in the Fortress’s fighting ring. He was only 14, but with your training, had held his record and hadn’t lost a single fight since he’d started.*

*you could hear the excited little clicks of his paws on the floor as he paced around his room, devising a strategy probably. Then Sigewinne’s voice as she made him sit down so she could do his pre-match checkup.*

He squeezed her shoulder, careful not to impede her work. ❝How are you two doing? Any nerves, Bailey? I can try to help, if so.❞

❝Do be careful though, cockiness may serve you at first, but after awhile humble words will serce you better. Both in and out of the ring. You mean well though, Bai.❞ Wriothesley grinned, extending his fist in front of his son.

Outing? Sure. I think Sigewinne is a bit exhausted from getting back her last night from visiting you and the Melusines in Merusea and the court, but I’ll ask her if you’d like. I’m fine hanging out one-on-one, though!
