I just read your post. I respect your decision, and I completely agree with the last anon, but I have a question, if you don't mind: you sound so very mature and hopeful in your post, not being led on by your emotions but assessing your situation rationally - do you feel this too? Have you learned from your past experiences, and are you more realistic/ hopeful about the future? I know it sounds silly but I think you'll have a lot of fun studying and meeting people as cute and smart as you :)

I definitely think I’ve grown a lot throughout my senior year. There are for sure moments where I still feel heavily fueled by emotions but that’s normal as I am human so I’ve tried to just accept them lol. In regards to my TC, It took a while to accept that this wasn’t going to go anywhere rationally. I had to step back and really think about my future and I’m going far away for college so either way there was no way to have anything more than a friendship. Honestly, taking a break from this community was necessary in that process because I kept giving myself false hope and it was rly hard. I know people don’t take crushes like this very seriously, but I think I speak for most ppl here when I say that it genuinely sucks to realize it’s over.

Wow. I remember going through your acc a few months ago after I kinda got my own tc and was lowkey fangirling over your acc lmao. I’m kinda sad that this is the end but everyone graduates and moves on eventually. But in the meantime while I’m still in high school, I was wondering if you could give some advice of how you got so close w your tc? I wanna get closer to mine in a platonic way but I’m a PHAT WUSS and don’t rly know how to talk to him since I finished his class. Thxs and gl w ur edu!

Advice wise honestly I just tried to initiate conversations more. It was easier because I would joke with friends and then subtly ask questions to him while joking. We also talked outside of class with the club so it was easier to get to know him. I think just showing interest in your TC’s hobbies/life could help but obviously don’t get too personal or it might come off wrong. For the most part, T had a very friendly personality so it was easier but I’m sure once you interact more it’ll get easier! I used to ask him how his day was a lot or I’d ask what he did over the weekend, etc.

I was so happy to get your notification, then so sad to read it... Your relationship with T is beautiful and loved reading all your updates, but i understand that you need to move on. So thank you for letting us be a part if this phase in your life. I wish you all the best for your future cause you deserv this. You are such a sweet person. Final Post

Hi everyone! First of all I want to apologize for my absence. If you didn’t already realize, I am no longer active on this account. I just recently graduated from HS and in regards to this account and the TC community, I have a few things I would like to address. These are 100% my own personal opinions and take them with a grain of salt. I’ll be active for a day or so in case anybody has any questions, but I won’t be answering any previous questions/comments/hate etc.

When I created this account long ago, I had no idea it would gain this large of a following and I would become so immersed in this predominantly very supportive community. I honestly enjoyed reading everyones stories and I felt part of something while simultaneously being able to share my own interactions with the infamous T. As time went on though, I started to receive hate which is understandable when you join anything, but combined with personal struggles unrelated to Tumblr, it was difficult. This also resulted in the few “breaks” I took which ended up to be very many and for long periods of time. I won’t go into too much detail on that though and I want those who were here with me for the right reasons to know I THANK YOU so much and I hope you’re doing well!

Now, for the long awaited update. In regards to T, I want to say this. Everything I wrote on this blog was the truth, whether you want to believe it or not. I want to emphasize though that some of the interactions were not necessarily appropriate and the reality is that 99% of the time nothing is going to come out of it. I don’t want to assume anything about anyone else or their situation but if it seems like what your teacher is doing is wrong or weird beyond normal then it probably is. T and I are still in touch as friends but we were never going to end up together and I knew that. I’m not going to talk about any specific moments anymore but I cherish the relationship T and I had in terms of student and teacher. We never did anything, which I know many people were curious about and now that I’ve graduated, that doesn’t just change.

In short: I’m moving on :) This account and community was here for me when I needed them but now, I’m leaving HS and this account with it.

THANK YOU TO ALL 2,000 OF YOU! You helped me in ways you can never imagine and If I made anybody upset by leaving then I truly am sorry. I’ll stick around to answer any questions for a day or two but if its hate please refrain.
