does Jeff and Liu talk anymore especially after the incident? Or are they like just far apart from each other

Well Liu is in prison for five years before being released on good behaviour and developing Sully as a coping mechanism. Prison is also where he gets his scars as he’s jumped multiple times over the whole situation with his family.

Once out he’s convinced by Sully again to hunt down Jeff, sure that it’s still the monster possessing his brother. However when they come into contact again Liu realises it is his brother and not some demon or monster. Overwhelmed with guilt he breaks down but honestly Jeff doesn’t care.

Once thing about Jeff is for people he actually cares about he does not care what they do. He’s very biased (as you can see with his Mom and dog in the rewrite) and his morals are confusing. He forgives Liu pretty quickly despite not remembering much of what led to his death. He’s also quick to fill him in on the whole Slenderman and smile dog stuff lol. Jeff’s also a little confused on why Liu cares so much, because, he’s fine more of less. He doesn’t rlly consider the gravity of the situation and is just happy to see Liu again over anything else.

He’d be more angry at Liu for not defending him in a petty dispute than literally trying to kill him lmao.

The fact that Liu and Jeff both have inconclusive memories of their final altercations allows for easy forgiveness as well(Jeff being heavily medicated and Liu losing touch with reality).

Liu’s motivation shifts into releasing his brother from the control of the Slenderman and his proxies

He’s fascinated. Even more so when you’re all done up. Because how did you manage to get even more beautiful? Skin white as a ghost, blacked out lips with eyeliner darker than night. The material that hugged your body, whether it be satin or leather, constantly had drool pooling in his mouth.

You look exquisite. Otherworldly. Ethereal.

If he had the words to describe you accurately, he’d write them down, but not a single word in the English vocabulary could come close to depicting what you are to him. Some sort of angel in black lipstick, brought into creation simply for the purpose of making his knees weak.

You’ll leave black kiss stains on his cheeks and neck, and he’ll be hesitant to wash them away.

Out in public, it’s an amusing sight. Him, barely put together in ripped jeans and old flannels, and you - looking like a goddess dropped down onto earth. Makeup perfect, hair teased, every aspect of your outfit so meticulously put together. If anyone says anything even remotely teasing to you, he’s cutting them a glare so deadly it would be stupid to try and push any further.

He’ll probably ask you to do him up in trad goth makeup now and then, just because he’s curious, and when you’re done, you’ll leave him looking cooler than he’s ever felt before.
