Back when i worked i spent 8 hours packaging chicken skewers and the first day i was so exhausted that i couldn't stop shaking and whenever i closed my eyes to sleep i kept seeing chicken skewers and i couldn't get the smell out of my clothes so i did my best to picture images of The Beatles instesd but they kept fading & turned into chicken skewers like in some horrible nightmare and i was miserable

@ahmedabuomar has been fundraising to save his family from the genocide in gaza since july. when i shared his campaign in august, he’d raised 2,764 of his 30,000€ goal. today, in november, his campaign sits at 3,813€. he has raised a little over 1k in two and a half months, and his last donation came in six days ago.

this is shockingly low. ahmed’s most recent post expresses dismay – he says he's stunned by the lack of support. still, he urges people not to abandon his family: his wife, and his three children. they desperately rely on this money for water, food and shelter.
