I’m gonna say it. Tampons are a humiliation ritual and I lowkey think you’re crazy if you use them. Just wear a fucking pad, bro. ONLY exception is if you’re an athlete who needs one, that’s fine, I get that. But if you’re just some regular woman and you voluntarily choose a tampon…….. insane behavior sorry. Love you though

What is happening to women in Afghanistan could happen anywhere in the world. Feminism is a social justice movement with universal truth. To know that this is happening to any women on our planet is the proof of what men are capable of.
Do not look away and say „it couldn’t happen here“. It could happen at anytime.

When fascists claim that "XX and XY are the only sexes" it's not a misunderstanding of reality but an expression of intent to erase anybody who exists outside of their desired norm.
Thinking they're just ignorant or misinformed is a fatal mistake, it's got nothing to do with how the world *is* and all to do with how they believe the world *should be.*

me when i think about a guy breaking gender norms: treating his wife with dignity and respect. partaking in cooking, cleaning and doing chores around the house instead of the occasional grilling. being gentle. being passionate. allowing his close male friends to use him as a support system. crying over things that bother him. expressing his anger in a healthy way. using masculinity as a way to demonstrate maturity, leadership, fairness and planning.
guys who say they break gender norms: cuts their hair really ugly. wears nail polish. calls women his friends 'bitch' and 'cunts' . call women who are probably being pimped out 'sex workers'

Watching season 1 SATC and season 6 SATC is like two completely different shows and season 1 is so much better. I also actually really liked when the show had that more confessional/faux documentary style
