Lyrics to “Hello, Love”
Looking for a hand nearby I cut the room with a gaze I do not want to wake up in thoughts That you have cleared me from your life
The bed, two covers divided us We did not trust ourselves Changed our pride about love
Hello, love You’re familiarly quiet Adrenaline That means I am ready
Hello, love Not a single word again Shivers by the phone That means I am ready
I collected your pieces Into an image by Levatin Rhythm, hot line You turn me to ashes I sting you
I erased the details from my memory Hands full of skin Whiskey contained our radars We got lost, but it was not lost

March 14, 2018 at 4PM -The brand REBEL SCHOOL is having their first show during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Russia dedicated to t.A.T.u.
From REBEL SCHOOL’s Instagram:
The year 2000. 18 years ago. We could allow ourselves a lot - freedom and self-expression. We took full breaths, experimented in love and were against the ordinary. This was a time of feelings, a time of emancipation and a time of rebellious love. Specifically during this time two sincere and intelligent school girls performed on American television and proved to the whole world what Russia was. The brand REBEL SCHOOL is dedicating its first show to the legendary t.A.T.u.

Lena Katina’s Instagram Post - March 3rd, 2018
If you were given an option to repeat this life, would you? What would you leave after yourself? The world seems endless and full of the future when you are 16 years old. You do as you feel and around you there are people who feel this world the same way as you. Sometimes we get lucky and are able to create something unique, something that is able to change this world for the better…like t.A.T.u. Music sets you free, you know this. Music is able to be a voice for those who cannot be heard or do not want to hear. The main thing is that is it able to unite us! This concert was made for you. Today, this music is my “Thank You” for your love. And this is a thank you not only from me, but from t.A.T.u., because after t.A.T.u. - after us - you and your love have remained. Everything on earth loses power if it is not based on love.
Thank you for all the support which we always felt, for every one of your responses to our songs from all the corners on this planet. Memories of t.A.T.u. will always remain as nostalgia in my heart.
BUT AFTER t.A.T.u… AFER US Music will remain… FOREVER AFTER US.

Lena Katina - After Us
We won’t be in time to burn out until morning A step after you on Earth We are stuck in the clouds After us there are no stars left This pain, as if everything is serious After us it’s impossible to lose your mind* On the clock I draw morning Without you these five minutes Without you these five minutes
Night, what will leave Will tear this thread The path of destiny there for you and me is so hard to change

Lena Katina gave an interview on Ufa's Kids FM to promote her new single "Silent Hills", her upcoming song "Here I Go Again", and her concert in Skazka Bar.
When talking about t.A.T.u., Lena revealed information about a collaboration between t.A.T.u. and Rammstein that never manifested:
Regarding popularity - the song “Moscow” by Rammstein…
It’s not our song. A lot of people think it is. I will tell you the story. We were supposed to record this song with Rammstein, everything was finalized. I was going to the airport, with my luggage and a driver, and I get a call saying, “Lena, the song is not going to be recorded, turn around and go home”. The reason was that Ivan and them could not decide who would be featuring whom, if it would be called Rammstein ft. t.A.T.u. or t.A.T.u. ft. Rammstein. We saw Rammstein later at some after party in Lisbon, if I am not mistaken, after some award show, and talked to them about the song. They said, “What happened, why did you not collaborate with us?”. Of course when you are so young and you are given so much success you don’t know to not do what you are told. You listen to the person who created the band, his genius ideas, who created songs that people still love…It upsets me that the song did not happen because of such a silly reason, Rammstein is a cult band I think.

Highlights from Lena Katina’s Birthday Fan Meeting
*Note: Lena was not feeling well during the meeting.
When will you show your son? Never. Let him live a peaceful life.
Tell us about the DVD. Tell us something about the new single. I won’t say anything. We’ll release it at some point. October it should be released. Everything has been ready for a while, we are just waiting for documents.
Are you planning a duet? I don’t now.
What about a lullaby? I’ve annoyed everyone with the lullaby. They said when I go to record a song then I will record the lullaby.
Do you have only two songs recorded or is there something else? Have you found something? I have found something, but a only a demo has been recorded.
Are there a lot of demos? Not really.
You have a few concerts in the far east. Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk…
Have you been there already? Yes.
What about Moscow? We’re getting ready for Moscow in Spring. I just had a concert in St. Petersburg.
So, everything will be soon? As always. I am sick of waiting myself. You think I am sitting there all happy? There are just moments that are impossible to control.
There is a song which I think a lot of people love, but you have never performed live - All My Love. Would you perform it at your concert? No, I wouldn’t be able to sing that song.
Where is your award for selling 4 million copies of 200km/hr In The Wrong Lane? Up there at my mom’s.
Do you talk to Ivan? I just spoke to him a few hours ago.
So, what happened with “Novoya Lubov’”? Guys...wait!

Lena Katina on Radio Sol’
Highlights from Lena Katina’s interview on Radio Sol’
When will your new single be released? In October. We will probably release it in English, but it’s a track in both English and Russian called “Silent Hill” (Eng)/“Nirvana For Both” (Rus). The documentation part is happening now, we’re getting all the logistics in order.
You performed in Eurovision. Is this a real contest or is it filled with politics and it is determined prior as to who will win? It’s hard to say. I think it’s wrong for known artists to perform in these kind of contests. I think that Eurovision has been more of a show than a song contest for a while now. Personally, I think that we (t.A.T.u.) sang horribly and did not deserve even 3rd place. There were reasons for this, of course. I know that Channel 1 Russia received an official letter from England, who gave us 0 points, during which time we were at the top of the charts there, stating we received 12 points from them and the results were altered. Again, I do not think we deserved it, but the song is cool…We had barely any rehearsal time and during that time we lip synced during performances, so we had no practice singing live. So, it was bad due to the lack of practice.
What did you do 3 minutes before going out on the stage? You think I remember?…standing behind the scenes and shaking.
Do you write your own songs? I’m a co-author.
Where is it easier to write for you? In Moscow I sometimes help my husband, if I hear something I will tell him what to add. I wrote my album in L.A. and the atmosphere there is ideal for creativity. We have a studio at Sven’s home with a swing in the backyard, it’s awesome there.
Will you tour? I have been going to different cities in the last few months and performing while recording new material, which I hope will be released soon… [Regarding touring] This is a question for my director and, in fact, I go where I am invited. So get your promoters to bring me to your city.
Do you save your awards, CDs, posters, and things that remind you of t.A.T.u.? Yes of course, I have a place for all this. It’s in Moscow at home.
Do you listen to your old songs? I don’t really listen to music, especially if I am planning to write something because it interferes and you end up writing in someone else’s style.
Caller Questions (there was no audio for these questions).
Regarding the release of the deluxe version of Lena’s first album. Yes, there are plans. It is hard to create a plan for this, to be honest. The deluxe is being worked on. We are wondering if there is a point in releasing it. If we do release it, we have to decide what to put on it. There is a lot of material which was left over, so we can’t decide what to include. We also have to do an interesting artwork design. I can tell you one thing, we are releasing a DVD with the concert from Rome, as a limited release in Europe. But, regarding the deluxe album - I am in Russia now and the guys who are working on this are in America. So, if you don’t constantly tell them to work on it then it takes a long time. I am waiting for it myself. I want to release it because there are songs which did not make the album, but are worth hearing.
Regarding a Russian song being translated into English. Oh no, I do not think I will be releasing it. I am not happy with the lyrics because they sound like a direct translation from English. It’s wrong and it sounds bad. I’d rather write new songs in Russian instead.

"All The Things She Said" at Number 20 on Billboard's 30 Lesbian Love Songs list.
Though the relationship between t.A.T.u.'s Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina may have been manufactured, the sentiments in this pop essential can accurately reflect the roadblocks some lesbian and queer couples may have experienced when coming out to friends and family. Plus, it's a bop, even in its original Russian form.

Pitchfork Publishes the Top 50 Singles of 2003
33. t.A.T.u. - Not Gonna Get Us
This could be 2003's greatest love song: a cinematic gem reminding us that tragedy was as much an element of great girl-group music as romance. Our heroes' belief that their love can create a utopia "beyond the clouds over the mountains" is suggestive of "Go West", except hightailing it over the Siberian hinterlands isn't as romantic as driving toward the warm California sun. Fittingly then, "Not Gonna Get Us"'s sharp trance-pop cuts and bleeds, mirroring the severity of its consequences. When paired with Tatu's striking vocal performances-- one sweetly optimistic and the other fiercely determined-- and the noble naivete of teenage invincibility, the duo have crafted the perfect exit music (to their own film). --Scott Plagenhoef

Lena Katina’s interview for MyCity.
Lena Katina: “Experience is priceless and I am so thankful for it.”
Scandalous performances with kisses on stage, short plaid skirts, and innocent school girl gazes - all of this is gone. Now, the same red-head from t.A.T.u., Lena Katina, is firstly a loving wife and thoughtful mother who lives with her family far across the ocean with a successful solo career. On the eve of her performance in Frankfurt on the 12th anniversary of the popular club Parliament Lena shared her thoughts about the past, reality, and the future with MyCity readers.
Europe met Lena Katina during Eurovision 2003 in Riga where t.A.T.u. received 3rd place. We still remember how much speculation there was around your performance: everyone was afraid of a scandal and provocative behavior from the sweet girls with the black 1’s on their white t-shirts. After a long period you are heading to Europe again, into Germany. What can we expect from the concert? I am anxiously awaiting this concert - I have not performed in Germany in a long time and I hope that the crowd and I receive a lot of joy form the songs and from one another. I regret that I cannot stay in Germany longer this time. I am a mom and all of my trips are very short. There is little time for excursions.
We’ll get back to music. In your repertoire you have songs in Russian and even albums in English and Spanish. Which language is it easier for you to get your message across to listeners? In Russian, of course. But English has become almost native as well, so I don’t feel a huge difference.
Your biography contains experience with movies - in the drama You and I you played yourself when you were a part of t.A.T.u. Now you are at an arm’s reach from Hollywood. Do you dream of continuing your acting career? Honestly, I don’t really see myself as an actress. I will not deny, however, that if there are interesting offers and a good director that I could try putting myself into that world.
At such a young age not many people can brag of such a big and rich life which you’ve had. If given the opportunity to jump into a time machine to change a time in your life, which would it be? Which year would you go back to? None! I am happy with my lie. Experience is priceless and I am so thankful for it.
It has been two years since you have become a mother, raising Alexander and protecting him form journalists. Do you and your husband want him to follow your footsteps and devote himself to music and the stage? I am very afraid that he will want to follow our footsteps, but I will not interfere in any way. You have to love what you do. If I see that he has a talent in music I will only support him. But I would like to see him in a different profession.
Even after giving birth you are still taking a break. Have you decided to completely devote yourself to your family or are you planning on returning to work on your project? Maybe during this time you have found yourself in something completely different? I will soon come back from my break and resume working on my solo project. Amongst this, of course, I will try to devote a lot of time to my family. That is paramount for me.
Should your devoted native fans be waiting for music in Russian to come out in the near future or is it time to start learning English and Spanish There will definitely be songs in Russian and very soon. There will be songs in English also, but currently I have fully concentrated on Russian material.
What about new duets? Your last one with T-Killah is still being played. That was an excellent duet. We will see what will be. But firstly I would like to release my solo EP.
What is your bedside book? Julia Gippenreiter - Communicating With a Child. How?
A talisman that is always with you? My cross, but it is hard to call it a talisman.
Your life motto? Be yourself and try to see only the best in people!

Highlights from Lena Katina’s Interview on Russian Radio Moldova
Will we here something new at the concert? No, because songs are being finished now. I am releasing a new single very soon in English and in Russian. It is very, very soon. The artwork is ready and it will be out soon.
What are you ready to do to achieve success? I will never betray anyone. I love the people I work with and would never betray them. I think to achieve success you need to work a lot, to believe in yourself, and to believe in your team.
How much time does work take up? Every week I have tours, plus time in the studio, shoots, e-mails - it’s my project so all the organizational things go through me, all the discussions and decisions.
Did having a child affect your creative process? I was actively writing before the birth, but have not sat down to write after the birth. I have only recorded.
How often do you spend time with your child? All the time. I don not have a nanny, I am against it. I was with him for the first 9 months without leaving, then began touring and his dad took over as well as his grandmothers. I try not to be away for more than 2 or 3 days.
Tell us about your first kiss. I was 14 years old and it was my best friend’s cousin…it was at my house.
What has been the most memorable place where you performed? During t.A.T.u. the most memorable ones were at at the Wembley Arena in England for Trevor Horn’s anniversary…and in Japan. Japan is a whole different world, I love that country and the people, I like everything there. I love their food. I have a name of a restaurant written in Japanese in my wallet…I go to it every time I am in Japan, I show the driver and ask him to take me there.
In my solo career…the recent tour in Israel - we had two concerts and they were hard physically on me - we flew in early in the morning and had two concerts in one day. We also went to Jerusalem the next day. It was not enough time for me, I was ready to continue sitting there and absorb the energy and environment.
Is there a memorable person from a concert? People running up on stage, throwing something? In my solo career there have not been such instances…During t.A.T.u. there were all sorts of things - we have had bottles thrown at us, tomatoes, especially during Malchik Gay. We had a concert on stage, which we stopped, and a person walked out on stage with a knife. One time my skirt got stolen - we used to change on stage during a concert and take off our skirts.
Are you happy now and what else would you want in life? Happiness is an internal understanding, it is here and now. It is hard to attach it to something. I am happy just to be alive. I wake up and say that I should be thankful for what I have. If you want something more, then you can’t just dream, but have to do something to get it. I want to release an EP album soon, I want to tour, I want another child.
Is there a chance that Lena will change her hair color to brown? I tried dyeing my hair darker, but I did not like it…I like how I am.
Do you have any rituals before performances? I walk around like a tiger in a cage. I get very nervous, my knees shake still. I worry a lot. I do have a ritual - I drink 50 grams of cognac, chase it with a spoonful of honey, drink tea and water, and I go on stage while reading a prayer.

“Airborne” Lyrics
I see that my day is starting Change into yourself immensely Remember and stop this episode Let the [believer] tear apart happiness
Don’t let it end [It will end] It’s wanted so badly We want to so badly Don’t let it end [It will end] We want to so badly
By airborne (transmission) Get infected with love And through a cable Transmit this virus Communicable Me and you wish peace For the entire world…
Winter, [a kiss,] and eyes Look, the line has whitened The snowstorm [opens] the calendar with you January begins
*The lyric translation isn’t final since there is only a fan-recorded live version of the song. This post will be updated once the studio version is released.

“Follow Me” Lyrics
On earth there are cities where there is no time on clocks There your head is in the clouds, prisoners are there under goodwill The whole world is for us, here and now It’s only yours, and only mine The whole world is for us, give me your hand Follow me Our sky is for two We’ll fall into it from running To fly! To fly! Take out wings from pockets, we will breathe new air greedily Breathe…
A freeze-frame taken for a photo album But continuation follows We will bring memory back to each other We will believe in a new world for a moment The whole world is for us, here and now
It’s only yours, and only mine The whole world is for us, give me your hand Follow me Give me your hand Follow me… Friend, follow the shadow behind me

Julia Volkova on RU TV
Are you happy with the video? I understand that your task was to shoot a beautiful video. It’s a lyric video, which is what is popular now. It has no story, just footage with words of the song. This video is for the internet, but it turned out pretty so it’s premiering on your channel today.
Why did you decide to not do a full video with a story? Right now it’s trendy to show things up-close, faces, lips, hands, nails...I wanted to do something trendy. Plus, the song is hard to create a scenario for, but if my fans actively continue to demand it, of course it will happen.
Did it take a while to shoot? No, just one day.
Im sure your friends have already seen it, what did your friends and family think? They liked it a lot.
Do you have friends who can say ‘It’s not very good’? Of course, ‘Why did you record such a weird song? You shouldn’t sing it, you should sing something else’. But as of now everyone liked it a lot because it is trendy in the music industry, this type of deep-house sound.
